You could ask but its probably just a JB thing when you pay $65 a month.
No it won't, and you are better off getting at JB or Goodguys to get it…
They do this deal every second weekend FYI.
Still seems like a good deal though, compared to other providers for instance.
New customers only. They like to stick it to the existing ones, don't they. I'm heading for the prepaid route; much easier to just move about when you get a better deal elsewhere.
Agreed, tired of being taken for granted while the new customers get all the deals. If that's the game they want to play then game on! For the first time in 10 years I'm leaving Telstra post-paid because apparently I only have value if I'm not currently paying them money.
When I asked one of the Telstra guys if, in going on to a discount prepaid, I could do it straight from Telstra to Telstra, or did I have to port out and port back in again; he accused me of “gaming” the system by doing the port out and port back. Customer loyalty is an excuse to be ripped off.
Yeah I recently moved to prepaid after 5 years of being postpaid. Their lowest postpaid plan was ridiculous. I'm waiting for a good deal before I ever go postpaid again
Why get this to save 12 x 15 = $180, when you can get $500 GC from JB?
This is not a deal. At all.
I would suggest you go on Optus plan instead because…
Same cost per month, no contract, free Apple much for 6 months with other premium services inc.
BUT
The main reason.. so when JB does a 12 month plan with $500 gc you port back in to Telstra for that sweet sweet JB money 😎
Which plan are you referring to?
Sim plan medium - $49
Telstra is not going to be the cheapest. I switched from Telstra to Optus and there is considerable difference in reception and data speed in Sydney anyways…this was after 15 years on Telstra.
But the Telstra plans now suck without roaming data and $10 roaming packs with 100mb data….didn't have a choice.
So when people say there is no difference in coverage and speed….its BS
But you get what you pay for….as the old saying goes.
Pretty sure you can get a jb/gg gift card for $45/month
Can someone please clarify.
If I port in my number for a 12 month contract on the $65 plan at The Good Guys I will recieve the $500 gift card to use for a iPhone 11 pro outright purchase?
Yeah
60 GB / month why so much data I can get by with 3 GB on my mobile and pay only $15 a month. Then again I do have unlimited NBN at home. Only reason I could imagine you need this much Mobile data is if you are forgoing a home internet connection all together.
Im on $39pm with 60gb. Telstra as well
Looks like a deal for Telstra
This is not a deal, just their standard offering..
The JB Hifi $500 Gift card is back on. Normally $400. Much better deal….with the $10 monthly credit it is hit and miss….tried 4 operators and got 1 that budged with some convincing…lol
Does this come with a $500 GC?
