The touch controls put me off. 99% of my microwave use it push start 2 times to get 2 mins of reheat. Physical buttons would likely be more reliable?
My mum has a new microwave with a cool big circular button, you just twist it to set the time.
This microwave gave up after just 1.5 years of use. When I called LG Customer support it took almost 2 months before they call you back. They said I have to bring bring it in to authorised repairer of LG (25-30 kms away) so they could check it out. In the end I just bought a Microwave oven in Kmart at least it wont hurt the pocket much if it breaks down.

I thought you must live in the sticks, but just checked for Perth, and their "repair service centres" are either at the extreme fringe of the urban spread 35km from the city, or worse, in a small town across the hills.
Not sure if they were the lowest bidders, of LG just wants to discourage as many people as possible from making warranty claims.
I will avoid LG, thanks!I think that's their way of saying to people "its up to you guys if you still want to bring it to our service centres". Same thing happened with our LG Washing Machine they said they will send a technician to assess the loud noise in our unit but I have to pay $140- $160 dollars call out fee if the unit doesn't have any problems, I told them the unit is still under warranty.
I wish it was black.
That's what she said.
How do touch controls give it ‘perfectly even defrost performance’?
