Can someone comment on their blends - just out of interest.
I’m still the happiest with Manna Beans - consistently good quality at unbeatable prices. Have also tried Pablo & Rusty which is also good for the discount price but very expensive (in my mind too expensive) once the intro 50% off runs out.
Bada Bean Aromas was terrific for 50% off and probably my favourite but I haven’t seen one of these offers in quite a while.
And TwoCracks for me was just not up to speed - very forgettable roast.
I have neither tried Manna or Bada Bean. I have tried P&R.
I found their Wolloomoolo blend to be pretty good, in terms of quality comparable to P&R. Its not bad for the price but definitely not worth $49/kg.
I normally subscribe to and buy from Double Roasters. $40/kg for single origin coffees. They send out two bags of different single origins every month. Free delivery under subscription service.
Also - for whatever reason, I have never felt comfortable buying from a non-local roaster. So only Sydney based roasters for me so far.
So the Espresso Blend duo is $100 a kilo? Seriously?
