    Thanks

  • I just got it too! Thanks

  • $1? Gotta be sh*tting me

    • +1

Free money to buy something, yay.

    • -7

      Agreed.

ShopBack have given $2 on a $5 spend AND included Woolworths in the past.

Great deal for me. I had been holding out on a 2 component expoxy glue that was $1.40, waiting for Black Friday deals. Now I get it for $0.39 after cashback, bargain!

      • +14

Seriously you hold out on a $1.40 purchase in the hopes of a deal popping up on OzBargain?

        • +16

If you don't need it straight away, then why not? My Aliexpress wishlist has got lots of cheap stuff ready for deals like this.

          • -1

@Arthur Dunger: Because it's $1.40 lol. Each to their own I guess

            • @neyo: Don't do it on any items and save nothing. Get into the habit of doing the same thing on a hundred times, and…

        • I’d like to see that guy face when someone post RM Williams boots $450 on sale.

        • Of course I was just teasing. I simply forgot to order it the other day and now thinking about what I could get for close to $1 I remembered and ordered.

Still, it feels good saving 70% off an item that's already only 20% of what it would cost locally.

        • My cart on aliexpress is filled with lots of items at varying price points (some as low as $0.65) just so when I do need to buy something I can add on items to reach the minimum spend levels for coupons.

Guys, what do I buy today from eBay or Amazon for $1 or so

    • was about to ask the same thing :^)
Maybe a SATA to USB cable?

    • +1

I tried to post some funny things to buy from eBay but it automatically removes my comment thinking the eBay links were affiliate links.

      • Post the Item ID.

        • +1

It was nothing serious it was a $1 coin but it was like 2.45 or something was the cost. The second item was a “free fridge magnet” from some random fish and chip shop I think it was for $1.10.

My point was going to be you can’t get much for a dollar 😂

    • +2

      This book

    • -2

eBay isn’t even on CR anymore. AliExpress is a good option though. I bought a short lightning cable for $1.40.

      • ?

        • +2

Hmm. Weird. When I search the iOS CR app I can’t find eBay.

          Screenshot

This store is available only via a desktop browser.

Maybe that’s why. It would still be good to have the landing page you linked appear in the iOS app.

$1 on Amazon hmmm… Guess I'll just buy like a noodle cup or something 😂

    • +4

lmao thanks for the idea haha

      Edit: min quantity 5 DAMMIT

    • +1

That just seems like such a waste (environmentally speaking)

      • Oh, I'll be an ethically sustained and environmentally conscious tin of baked beans instead then. Oh wait, methane is a waste to the environment as well.

    • Last Christmas I joined prime just so I could send a single cup of noodles to each of my friends. It's the thought that counts right? :)

  • Love it! Thanks OP.

  • Reminds me of the southpark episode "Safe Space" where randy donates $1 to charity.

  • +4

Got 3 packs of 1/2 price BBQ Shapes, $1.60ea at Amazon with prime.

  • That $2 should be appearing this week….

  • Well… I've got an email from Microsoft that says 3 months of Ultimate for $1. Not sure if it'll work through Cashrewards.

    • Okay so activated an old 30 day Gamepass code which gave 1 extra month for free then went ahead with the $1 for 3 months Gamepass Ultimate deal through Cashrewards pushing overall period to 5 months showing on the subscription status. Hopefully will get tracked and get a $1.01 back from Cashrewards.. :) Recurring billing already switched off.

  • When it doubt buy stickers.
I wasn't in doubt, bought this faucet extender for $1.45 including tax
    https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32873069242.html

    • Cool product, never seen that before.

  • I don't use cash back enough to meet the minimum accrued withdrawal amount in a reasonable time (I rarely buy anything on-line).

    • In-store cashback is also available.

  • I got get $15 when spending $30.

    • +1

That one is targeted and expired yesterday (I think). This one is for everyone.

      • Ah right, does say it. Says they extended it till 30th.

  • +4

Thanks for the heads up. Spent $1.10 (thanks GST). I like getting little ebay packages in the mail. Those little brown mystery bags are a lot of fun as they take so long to arrive and I always forget what I ordered.

  • +3

Technically 1c profit + a free Pokemon sticker sheet
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/POKEMON-PIKACHU-STICKERS-SHEET-B…

    • Also bought stickers, it was a rocky journey trying to get the old computer working to checkout eBay just for $1 saving.

      • Seller cancelled my order 😡

        • +1

Mine too. Hope we get to leave feedback.

Even though the offer to sell one and free shipping, they want you to order 30 and put into gift bags etc.

          • @kulprit: oh 100% leaving feedback, gotta wait 7 days though

            • @brandogs: eBay - Amber Hynes

she cancelled it. no doubt she don't want to send free poke and waste of $1 stamp !

              • @shortgum: No communication what so ever either. I'm definitely going to bring down her feedback score.

  • +4

Cheers Doweyy. Got 2 x baked beans $1.60($0.80 each) with Amazon Prime delivered

Thank you, saved me 30 mins of my life

  • +4

Don’t mind me. I’m just here to see what people bought for $1.

30-pack of Neodymium magnets for $1.14 after tax, meaning a net cost of 14 cents after cash back. Should be fun! Thanks OP!

    • 2x2mm though… extremely small size!

  • I activated but then the notifier plugin for safari wasn’t loading when I visited amazon I even hit the pop up to activate the cashback and it still wouldn’t load if I select the notifier in safari so a bit worried over my free dollar if it’s going to work … fingers crossed

  • +2

So I got the Amaysim $4.97. So effectively $3.97? Awesome if true.

    • Of course!! Why didn't I think of that!

  • +2

Actually ended up getting a can of soup
    $1.75 for 1 - Heinz Chunky Chilli Beef 520g.

  • I'm probably going to negged hard here but forgive me for I am relatively new to OzBargain humour… But, is this a troll post?
People can't possibly be spending time looking for things to buy for $1?

    • I already had something for just over $1 in my cart, ended up spending $4 though to get something else instead though.

    • +3

It's the Easter Egg effect. You'll learn with spending more time on here…

    • +3

Nope not troll. If you've ever thumbed through fleabay etc you'll always come across a few things of low cost you might get around to buying. So it becomes 30 secs of fun to click, buy and then wait 3 months for it to arrive. Eventually you have a steady stream of things arriving. And the interesting part is I've discovered many useful little objects along the way where you can trial run the cheaper item and then if it works out, go get a better version. And worst case, the kids play with them.

  • So much hype over getting $1 that will take 2 months to credit.

Now go take that $1 and go buy something nice at the dollar store
