Have an existing 128Gb model 4 (wifi, cellular) which we use as our GPS system in the car. Even if you don't put a SIM into it, it still has extra GPS hardware.
Also find it useful on bike rides - fits nicely into a handlebar bag.The space grey 256 SG wifi cellular is.
