Poor rating on this vacuum from choice. Better off with a Miele C3 complete which can be had for the same price.
Despite both being vacuums, they are not really direct competitors. You either want bagless or happy with/need bagged.
Didn't know people would buy a bad vacuum just so they didn't have to use bags.
I just assumed they bought a vacuum to clean and would want that done as best as possible.
well that's precisely what I did. But regret it now.
I would much rather pay a few dollars for bags for the convenience of only needing to empty it every few months, and without making a mess when I do it.
@lostn: Every decent vacuum recommended by choice has a bag. From Miele to Sebo to even Electrolux or Boche.
To put things into prospective, per hair removal score for a Dyson is 60. Most other brands are 90 to 100.
Sure they'll switch on, every vacuum will. It's about how well they clean., It's why we clean in the first place.
@[Deactivated]: yes. But ozbargain molded me into an extreme tight arse. Saving money on bags made sense to me at the time. Until I owned a bagless vac. I was choosing between Miele or Dyson and they were about the same price but I chose wrong and later ended up having to buy a Miele anyway.
Be sure to buy a landline phone in the same transaction.

Got it for around this price on-sale many years ago.
It is a solid work horse.
i owned a DC37 Allergy. I hated using it. The dust bowl is tiny. It filled up so quickly and emptying it was a pain. I would never recommend one of these to anyone.
That's exactly what choice negged the vacuum about. Extremely messy to empty the dust bin.
