Would have bought one of these instantly if they did shipping to the NT.
What's the true refresh rate on these, like if I hooked it up to my pc?
Either 60 or 120, the price suggests 60 but I'm not sure.
Some TVs can unofficially use higher refresh at lower resolution also.
There are no true tv that are 120hz. Only monitors.
It's around 80. I tested it the 43" R6. Over clocking on Nvidia control panel It says 120hz on 1080p but I tested it with a camera and only got to 80 with it still being true.
The Item does not post to Australia so why is it on OzB?
Showing a delivery available to me or Local pickup in Queensland.
I didn't neg btw
Right. That’s the message I got. But what EBay is really saying is that they don’t ship this item to my location or state in Australia.
Posting to: Australia
Excludes: Northern Territory, Perth Metro, Adelaide Metro, QLD Far North, WA Regional, SA Regional, Tasmania, WA Remote, PO Box
Videopro not shipping to Australia… which deal are you looking at?
Shows as shipping available to me for $77 in Melb from QLD. Or local pickup in QLD
How does this cmpare vs TCL 65p8m?
TCL has 3 years warranty, and they currently doing a cash back via redemption offer.
Cashback ended on 10th Nov? Is there a new one?
I got the TCL 65P8M for $636 here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/493616 so it was a no-brainer.
Can't comment on R6, but the TCL has a Roku and Chromecast builtin which is a winner for me.looks like a bang-er!
Can we use 12% cashreward for this? Thanks
Yes only if you don't use the promo code, so not worth it as promo code you get a bigger discount than the cashback amount.
Cashback is ineligible if discount coupons or promo codes are applied to any transaction.
R6 vs R7?
50hz v 100hz, Dolby HDR
The series 7 is a much better unit. I think they are around 1100 into hat site minus the 20%.. for $130 more definetly a better option in my opinion.
What's response time/hz like on these?!
50hz
Is this brand any good? I hesitate few times buying the 55" ones at jbhifi?
Videopro was the cheapest for my Hisense P7 55 too a while back, cheapest by about $250. Didn't find it on OZB and after i ordered the price went up $200.
Any concerns about Hisense not supporting Disney+ or Apple TV+ in the near future for series 6?
This runs VIDAA OS, chances are not great for Disney - apple obviously not. But chrome cast already supports Disney and it’s cheap at JB this week
Thanks! I've got a chromecast, but my ancient ipads used by the kids to cast Netflix does not support Disney+, so I am hoping to get it integrated in a new TV. The RG model's prices makes me think it's better to get this model and a cheap android tablet to do the casting.
RG has android OS, which already has Disney. And Kayo.
Yeah Hisense pretty much said they arn't doing Disney+ for these Tv's I own one and I'm pretty disappointing with them.
How would this compare to the Kogan Series 8?

Don’t buy any smart tv unless it’s android smart tv
By far the Best TV for the money and even TVs 4-5 times the cost.
anyone have exeprience with R6 vs R7? is it worth the extra $$
would you choose this Hisense R7 or the LG 55UM7400PTA?
the longer warranty for hisense is compelling but if you have any personal experience with either regarding the interface speed, picture quality for both gaming and movies, that would be great.thanks
I had an LG 55' UHD TV died in less than 5 years, went to their repair center, spent $77 for inspection, and they quoted me $700+ for changing the mainboard of the TV, and with only 3 months warranty.
So instead I just bought this TV.
Is it just me or PITCH20 isn't valid for Hisense TVs anymore?
Still works for me.
Great price for this TV!
