  1080p, I use it indoor, haven't checked the night time recording. One other thing, I wish they'd improve the microphone sensitivity.

    On the back it has a plug for what seems to be a 3.5mm power jack, so perhaps a USB-to-3.5mm cable could be used, but I haven't verified that yet.
