One of my monitors at work exploded and I wanted a cheap 16:10 replacement before things get upgraded next year for 1440. This seems to fit the bill!

Unfortunately it's not a 24" but for the price and with 3 year warranty + 100mm VESA mount I'm not really complaining.

Edit: As pointed out below by Samowol it only has VGA and DVI inputs, no display port or HDMI as far as I can tell.

  Thanks for the reminder - I actually needed a VGA input which is why I went for this one, but have edited the original post to include this info.

  Negative, was a bit dramatic with zapping and smoke and heat but no flames.
