  • Oh no, what’s a referrer.

    • The issue was with the eBay link, I've fixed it up now.

      • Thanks!

  • I didn't think it would sell when I first saw it - How many proper or home mechanics will sit down and say that height is perfect for what they are doing!
Even at that price I doubt it'll move….

I have a similar one. Very handy. Never use the draws though.

I like the idea of it. And saves me going to the toolbox. I haven’t grabbed one myself yet. But contemplating telling the wife to grab me one for Christmas.

    • That looks like the perfect height for home mechanics doing wheel bearings/hubs, cv’s, brakes, and various suspension jobs to name a few. “Proper” mechanics wouldn’t often need one as they would have access to a hoist.

  • Vote for the opening line. Not sure about this but one of the best products I've bought for handy storage/sitting/standing was a Bunnings plastic stool type thing (bit like a caravan step) with a clip down lid and carry handle, with storage within. About 40x30x30cm, very strong and sturdy and importantly doesn't move when you stand or sit on it. Bought about 15 years ago and although I've looked for similar products as gifts since, unfortunately it seems to have gone from the market. Simple, cheap, long-lasting, extremely useful - guess that's why it didn't last.

  • I need this! perfect for working on the Motorbikes and do skids around the garage!
I'm sick of using a tray to carry my tools and tripping over it and the wooden stool.

Wonder if it is available at Auburn?

    • I’m sure it is!

  • Anyone heading to a Costco tomo? Looking for some prices on food items- paid! Take ya 30-45 mins I reckon.

  • Bought one of these at this price last time it was on sale in VIC, it's great to have floating around the garage. It's fairly thin width-wise so it's actually fairly compact when not in use (or need to squeeze it between things when working on something) and the seat is surprisingly thick and comfy. Feels solid and well made.

Only negative (besides lack of height adjustment) is that the drawers can slide out sometimes if you're gunning it… err, using it responsibly.

Thought it was a bargain compared to what SCA charges for a basic gas lift stool.
