They tightened it up. Still a good deal.
Maybe people were doing large coffee orders when they were clearly trying to encourage food orders. Many cafes just don’t list food on their skip pages, so I end up buying a bunch of coffees of the value of the food that I’m ordering in the store at the time and just them to ignore the skip order but that I’ve paid them via skip (just use it as a way to get the funds to them at 40% less). They love it as they get 100% and skip pays for half my lunch.
These guys are legends. I spend a lot more during these promos.

There is a lot less merchant partners outside of CBD. There are some where I live on Eastern VIC suburbs but they may forget to turn on the skip machine because not many customers use it
