Just received this from LineBreak - looks like they're branching out:

There’s no shortage of cyclists in the LineBreak office so the moment Cadel Evans won the Tour de France on the weekend we put down our champagne, picked up the phone to our good friends at Diadora and struck a deal especially for you, our beloved LineBreak customer.
We have secured 50 pairs of Diadora Proracer 3 road cycling shoes as worn by Cadel at an unbelievable price!

At retail, these little beauties cost $433. Online from the UK they’ll set you back $340 but…
for being a LineBreak customer, you can have the same shoes Cadel just won the Tour de France in for only $289!!

We only have 50 pairs so if you’re quick, you could be riding in these by the weekend and even if you’re not a cyclist, these shoes are becoming collector’s items as we speak.
Simply click here: www.linebreak.com.au/cycling.htm for a full description of the shoe and to grab yourself a piece of history!
Please note - no further discounts or LineBreak discount codes apply to this product. It's either a bargain or it isn't. Who cares if they are trying to cash in if it's a bargain?

Diadora p**s me off! They are the kind of company that you THINK makes crap because they sell their cheap stuff to kmart yet strangely…everything diadora I buy turns out to be REALLY good quality at the pricepoint. In fact, better than almost everything else I can buy anywhere near that price!

Not knocking the company at all, in fact, damn good equipment!

    • That's funny, as I buy Diadora black walking shoes at K-Mart once every two years. They're full leather, comfortable, very hard wearing and dirt cheap at $25 (half price sale at year end).

      • I've got some of the last of the Diadora black toning shoes :( AWESOME AWESOME shoe. Wears like a $100+ pair! I actually specifically hunt out their equipment. Been around for absolutely ages.

  • I just purchased - I have been wearing Sidi for years now - the latest pair are so worn that I can't get the speedplay cleats off - the screw heads are worn flat… good shoes though - they've lasted about 5 years. Will see how the Diadoras match-up!

    • Sidi make the best motorbike boots too.

Diadora's have always been well priced for their quality.

  • Big plus for Cadel, But ive owned 2 pairs of diadora shoes before (got them real cheap), put both in the good will bins because they were utter crap (didn't even want to put them in good will they were that uncomfortable).

I watched most of the tour, must say I never once looked at cadels shoes…

    • Yeah - agree, not a clue what Cadel was wearing, hopefully the shoes do the job AND are comfortable.

  • Wow - 3 day delivery is pretty impressive, good fit - shall smash a few 100km and see how they perform!

    They look awesome!
