        Thanks for updating the post

Cashback deal is sweeter with no maximum benefit and no minimum spend

    • -3

I assume the deals can be stacked right, 11% off at checkout and the 11% cashback with Shopback?

      • +3

No, the second condition of the Shopback post is clear! Although I hope it's not true!

    • +7

depends, cashback takes 3 months vs instant saving

      • +2

Yeah yeah but eligible items vs. sitewide is a no brainer as most eligible items are jacked up.

        • +6

Also, shopback excludes GST, but code includes GST
so technically, use the code to save more for eligible items

  • Damn thought it was sitewide before the edit :/

  • It seems to work on things that aren't usually included, Vehicle Parts & Accessories, and such… 11%

    • Hmmmm doesn't work on some things I'm after from this category

      • Same, must be for specific parts in certain catgeories only.
then the shopback deal is alot better.

        • Yeah, agreed. I'm waiting for that one to start

  • +5

Quick…..post up something I dont need but will buy bacoz of this.

    I need ideas

  • +3

Confirmed Officeworks is excluded as always, use shopback instead

However for eligible items, shopback excludes GST, but code includes GST
so use the code to save more

        • +3

They cancelled my order stating that they do not have stock but have still have them for sale but now at a higher price.

Is there a way we can dispute this?

          • +1

@Zerosignal: they cancelled my order too.

            • @ravescar: See my comment below. Seriously, correct it via ebay chat just like I said.

          • +3

            @Zerosignal: mine too..

            "Hi,
The seller cancelled this order because: Buyer asked to cancel the order.
They sent a refund to your original payment method."

In no way did the buyer ask to cancel this order…

            • +4

@gilbertshng: I'm pretty much done with Ebay, the marketplace is broken now.

            • +1

@gilbertshng: Complain to ebay. Seriously. Make sure they correct it to "transaction defect - out of stock" not "buyer requested a refund".

The former hits them HARD. 2% of transactions cancelled as out of stock causes their seller account to be less than standard, with consequences such as increased fees, possibly PayPal fund holds, don't know what else.

When they file as "buyer requested a refund", nothing happens.

If everyone affected complained you'd likely stop them as 2% of the last year's transactions is a very low number.

              • @justtoreply: Thanks for the info. Just spoke with ebay and they are investigating. Here are the exerpts:

"I have already checked on the cancellation details and I see that really cancelled it saying as it was you who asked to.

At the same time, they relisted the item with a higher price, AU $2,450.00 to be exact.

This is clearly a violation to the binding contract they signed for upon creating a seller account with us.

What I can do for you is to submit a report about the seller's bad selling activity so that their account will be investigated and this specific cancelled transaction will be looked into.

If proven to have been doing such bad selling activity, I am afrauid their account will be restricted or even suspended. At the same time, any specific action taken against their account ay not be visible to you because this is going to be an internal report.

Rest assured, proper action will be taken."

          • @Zerosignal: See my comment above. Seriously, correct it via ebay chat just like I said.

        • +1

yeah they freaking cancelled my order too with excuse no stock. what a BS! Also cant leave a review after they cancelled the order.
smh wasted my time so furious

          • +2

@blacknblue: Probably the jack price wasn't factored in. Hence cancelled your orders…

            • @cloudie9: That is true I bought it at original price before it was jacked haha

          • @blacknblue: See my comment above. Seriously, correct it via ebay chat just like I said.

            • @justtoreply: yep, will get in touch with them, if not will resolved then will report to ebay!

        • My order is still hanging - not cancelled yet. Due for "express delivery by tomorrow", but still not listed as sent.
Have asked for status update from seller, but met with radio silence

        • OK, now cancelled, nearly 3 days after Yourfone (for that is the store name) took my order.
I’m gonna make a big fuss about this with eBay and try to make life very uncomfortable for Yourfone

        • Guys, I got mine, turned out it is blacklisted by Vodaphone. They sell stolen devices as brand new. This will be the last phone I try to buy on eBay.

        • Seller reported (there were various irregularities with my order cancellation) and eBay on the case with an investigation. Hopefully this seller will get blacklisted and not be able to practice his shonky business on eBay any more. Caveat Emptor!

I am sick of eligible items, how to know which item is eligible ??

    • +1

      Lucky dip

  • Well I guess it's better than 10%!

  • +1

No surprise there's a lot of jacking off during a singles promo.

  • why is there a picture of an iphone?

  • Doesn't work on anything in my cart. Gonna go cashback.

  • Didn't work for me. I had 2 items from same seller, $153 total, discount wouldn't apply

  • Just wondering what's the the definition of eligible items as none of the items in my cart work.

Probably those overpriced lion King ooshies will work

  • +2

the forkers have increased the price well above retail, cheaper to go to Apple store for an 11

  • damn iphones have been jacked.

  • +6

I really feel the need to neg every eBay post with "Eligible Items".

    • +1

I get ya. Every time I want to buy something, I add it to my cart, and then look at the OzBargain eBay page, trying every promo code from the highest discount downwards, until I find one that works…

Is there an easier way ?

    • +1

Yeah totally! Get rid of them.

  • I tried to buy a sony phone worth 1000+, still that code doesn't work, tried multiple sellers.

    • +1

Don't waste your time trying the code. The description page will say whether it's eligible or not.

  • -2

I just bought one from here.
the other link is out of storage of 256G.
hope i can get 125 cashback via shopback…..
