First post (yay!) because I don't think many people will know about this since the special is unmarked! (Special price is not displayed).

I went to Bunnings today and this guy - Ish - told me everything on the shelf near the cafe was up to 30% off. Not everyone working knows about the promotion so best to speak Ish (and if he's not around, try Leo).

Apparently new models with bigger batteries have come out so they're getting rid of old stock at a good price. He mentioned a $450 petrol lawn mower from Ryobi is now under $300, but most things in the photo are between 24 - 30% off. $199 becomes $150 and everything over $200 is 30% off. It's unmarked which is weird so I hope this helps!

      The line trimmer on the photo is available (with the blower for $150) though I'm not sure what a brushless one is. They also have an Ozito 3-piece set for $150 - blower, trimmer & hedger.

    Sounds quite odd that they'd discount a petrol mower when the upgrade is to models with batteries? Did you buy anything / have a receipt?

    Called Bunnings Box Hill in Vic and a price check didn't show any discount and they weren't aware of any old models being discounted either.

      Last time I got some cheap Ozito gear it wasn't bigger batteries, it was a slight buy noticeable change in the shade of red they used, and so all the old stuff was being cleared out

    I just called Bunnings Chadstone and they didn't have the sale running. Can anyone confirm if it's applicable to any other store outside of NSW? I bought said $450 petrol mower and line trimmer on Tuesday so I'd be pretty peeved if it dropped by 30% lol

      Well i have tried in Qld to get a price match several times and always get the reply that we dont match other bunnings.

        Vic stores and act stores all ways price matc if it’s deleated item or on clearance
        I do it all the time if I have a receipt or clearance picture

          perhaps your local bunnings. Most bunnings around our area in VIC won't price match other Bunnings. Even if its deleted stock. Its to the managers discretion to discount.

            @id: A good manager knows that if he or she is making a sale, and it's above cost price, they should do it

            It keeps the customer happy and prevents negative nps and creation of detractors

    Why do Bunnings seem to have differing prices on specials/clearance items across their stores quite regularly?

    Cheers op. Just popped to artarmon bunnings when I saw this because I was in the market for the ext hedger. Can confirm that the clearance is still on and prices are now clearly marked.

    Ext hedger and pruner are $149 each and edger is $159
