Awesome, just got 8 for my Christmas tree thicket.

  • "Do not place product in direct sunlight or in an area where temperatures exceed 40 degrees."

    • Yeah that's why trees die once temperature reaches 40 degrees or exposed to sunlight

Go to an op shop and pick up an used one, instead of just adding to the land fill.

Seriously, the amount of tree that a shop gets after Christmas……..

    • +2

On your advice, I've postponed Chistmas - until my local op shop gets it's post-Christmas supplies😉

Eastern Orthodox would welcome an Infidel!

        • Sorry, I'm not converting.
Christmas day Tue, 7 Jan 2020 - not enough time for op shops to really stock up after Christmas break🎄

        • These guys are great. They keep things like taxis and servos running on Xmas day when nobody else is willing to take shifts.

          • @ssquid: So do people with other / no religious beliefs!

Most taxi drivers I meet are not Christians & like the extra money when others don't want to work.

A Muslim taxi driver here, over Christmas one year, commented on my favourite travel t-shirt which read in Arabic أنا لست أميركيا - "I am not an American!"😉

It literally does not say whether this is a real tree or plastic tree

"Bring home this awesome Christmas tree to ring in the festive spirit.
    Christmas tree
    Columbia pine
    324 tips
    B tree
    Girth approx.: 1m
    Flame retardant
    Plastic stand included
    Instruction Manual
    1.82m (H)
    Colour: Green
    Assembly required"

    • I had that question too. Based on the instruction manual, it's a plastic tree.

      • +5

Assembly required didn't indicate this is not a real tree??

    • -1

If you don't think this is a fake tree…
      pssst.. Santa isn't real either😉

    • +1

How do you get through a regular day without dying if you need that level of instructions/information on something as simple as a Christmas tree?

  • -1

This is the normal price, there is no saving…

    • Not last Chistmas… $6 with more tips

      • "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart…"

        • +1

          Please don't!

          "Last Christmas, I gave
          you"
          … a restraining order!

        • "But the very next day you gave it away".

Sounds like a lot of Christmas presents in general.

      • Larger girth this time around

        • +2

          Girth approx.: 1m

Must have been a cold winter last year… (shrinkage)

            @INFIDEL:

Must have been a cold winter last year…

            It was summer.

            • @jv: Where these "trees" come from - it was Winter!
Was only thinking about the elves in the cold packing them for Kmart🎄

              • @INFIDEL:

Was only thinking about the elves

                Elves has left the building…

                • @jv: Uh-huh-huh, Thank you very much.

  • 324 tips isn't that much, might look odd - last year Bunnings had a tree with 720 tips for $15.

    • Were the tips useful?

      • I got mine from the tip…was very useful

  • I still got mine from last year, will reuse again :D

    • +1

      Why wouldn't you

      • Because its in the storage area and it might be full of spider webs :(

        • +3

Should've put it out for Halloween then. Just pretend the spider webs are fake snow.
