This Ecowitt GW1000 Wi-Fi Gateway is designed to access ecowitt sensor(s) data via the Internet or your local WLAN network, and allows you to monitor the weather condition on our free WS View mobile application.

  Can you name the different channels if you have several temp sensors so that you don't have to remember where they are located?

    Yes, you can edit the channels name for each sensor(WH31 multi-channel temp and humidity sensor).

  What is the difference between the WH31 and WH32? It says that WH32 is oudoor, but the specs are identical. Both only go down to -10 degrees Celsius.

    Hi, Here are the differences:
    1. Only the WH32 sensor data can display "Outdoor Temperature and Humidity" on the WS View app when work with GW1000.
    2. The WH31 sensor data will display "Multi-channel Temperature and Humidity" on the WS View app when work with GW1000.
    3. One GW1000 can only receive one WH32 sensor data.
    4. One GW1000 can receive up to 8 WH31 sensor data.
    5. The WH32 sensor data can be uploaded to weather underground, while the WH31 could not.
    6. Both the WH32 and WH31 data can be uploaded to ecowitt.net.
    7.The WH31 can work with HP2551.
    8. Both WH31 and WH32 sensors can be used outdoors. If you only need one for outdoors, we recommend you to choose the WH32 sensor.

    As for the temperature, both sensor can work at -40C-60C and upload data to the server. However the screen display on the sensors might not work below -10C.
