    Does anyone know who makes a good wireless access point? Have a large area thats covered in ethernet ports but I'd like to attach a WAP to a half dozen of them to get good wifi signal everywhere.

      Depending on how big an area, maybe a Mesh setup is what you need?

      Ubiquiti gear is amazing. Cloud key (gen 2), POE switch and a few AP's.

    Best to invest in mesh system than spending this much on a range extender.

    Similar price can get a mesh system to cover 300 square meters in full already.

    Don't forget range extender is still 2 different networks and SSID. So it will not connect to the second node till the signal totally died in the first one.
