Dam, missed it. In saying that this from Bunnings has been brilliant for me. Not bluetooth, but the range on this is fantastic and for $25 works very well.

    Very easy. Has different settings for the type of meat eg. lamb, beef. How you want it cooked, medium, rare etc. It will then beep when the temp is reached. My father in law saw mine and went and bought one himself.

I have one of these and find the bluetooth functionality relatively superfluous. The range of the bluetooth is only approx 10 meters so I often find myself just walking up to the LED screen to check the temp.
