—————-

Shhhhh.. 🤫 …. Enjoy :)

Note : Check your PICKUP LOCATION or You may End up travelling to another state.

Or You can get it for $1999 @ JB Hi-Fi or HN if that is nearby ;-)

The Mavic 2 Zoom from DJI is a professional quality film making drone that gives you the ability to get closer to the action, thanks to its 2x 24-48mm optical zoom camera with a 1/2.3" 12MP sensor. With 4x lossless zoom (including 2x optical zoom) you can capture sensitive subjects from an even greater distance. There's even a single-tap aerial mode called Dolly Zoom that gives a Hitchcockian effect to your footage.

The Mavic 2 Zoom utilizes a low-drag aerodynamic body design for achieving speeds up to 47.7 mph, a four-cell LiPo battery for up to 31 minutes of flight time, and low-noise propellers for filming without being distracting. This power and performance are coupled with a variety of shooting modes and capabilities for cinematic results.

In order to help keep the Mavic 2 Zoom safe and in control, DJI has provided OcuSync 2.0 video transmission technology that can transmit a video feed to the included controller from up to 5 miles away in Full HD 1080p quality. There's also omnidirectional obstacle sensing that provides object avoidance with sensors on all sides of the Mavic 2 Zoom.

        • Phantom 4 Pro or wait for new DJI drone unless you have a spare 2K to throw away for the Mavic 2 :P

    • I'm still flying my Phantom 3 Advanced. Think it is more stable than the smaller Mavic in windy condition.

Checked out as a guest and paid by Paypal so only have the Paypal receipt. Dunno whether to chase Bunnings or Paypal or just wait

    • -1

      Same

    • Same here. I figure wait a couple days and see what happens??

    • Same

    • did you actually get a receipt email from paypal?
I didnt get the usual email receipt from paypal.

When I login to paypal, the charge is definitely there though.

      • Same.
Yes, I got the PayPal receipt on my email

    • If you received the paypal transaction email, there is a bunnings invoice order number near the bottom if you didn't get to jot down the order number on checkout and didn't receive any emails from bunnings.

  • Same

When I went to get my $50 Bunning Gift Card they had this sign on numerous counters throughout the Shellharbour Store

The correct price now is $1709

    • +1

…hahaha. you reckon theyll make this mistake again anytime soon? :D

      • If they don't, some other companies will and lots of OZBers will rush and buy again. Some will get compensated and happy. Some will get refunded without any compensation and pissed. Some will keep on thinking about it and want a class action or ACCC involved.

It's the same story every time. Now that some people got compensated, it is unlikely this deal will be marked as pricing error any time soon.

    • How is $1709 anything like $298?

      • +3

Maybe original store price was $2007. $298 is the discount.

      • Who knows how this stuff happens… Optus recently advertised a phone for $1 and everyone went nuts buying it. That was apparently due to it being $1 in their pre prod testing environment.

  • Got nothing from them when I gone in and got my refund. Meh.

  • -1

    My order states
Please note, product & pricing is correct at time of purchase.

Any grounds for a class action "the OzBargain people vs Bunnings"? ;-)

Knew it was too good to be true

    • You could but it would be pointless because the most you would get in terms of a remedy from the court would be a declaration that Bunnings has breached the law, and possibly nominal damages (e.g. $1).

  • No actions for my PayPal payment yet

  • -7

Trust me, no one will have this order honoured, directive from head office that I heard is that all orders are refunded, the only people who will get anything are the ones who have approached spineless managers in stores.
Those who have tried to get freebies… you sicken me.

    • Respect. Just a quick one. Did you perchance get your DJI Mavic 2 Zoom order fulfilled?

    • +1

Why do they sicken you some people have been compensated for travelling to stores twice for an advertised
product ( no I didn’t claim anything). Managers have previously given me vouchers for coming back the next day for items out of stock on shelf but stored up high that they couldn’t get till the store was closed
It’s called looking after customers very rare these days

  • -1

So many bargains to be had on here but this was so obviously a pricing error, anyone who expected it to be honoured needed to have there head read…. just saying.

This was not a deal it was a pricing mistake, get over it.
At least some posters/would be buyers on here have behaved well but those who supposedly tried to place qty orders well really?

  • +2

Any news on when we are gonna get our refunds LOL (For sheeps like me that got charged without a confirmation email or receipt)

  • +3

Anyone buy but not get any email confirmation? My bank account got charged so this better be granted or refunded lol

    • +3

      Yep. 10,000 of us

    • Are you with Commbank LOL

  • +2

Got a call from bunnings, and they just refunded the money straight away. ALSO i asked for a gift card for myself and straight away they said no!!!

" I hope you are well. I left a voicemail for you in regards to this order. Unfortunately, we unable to fulfill this order as this product order as this was an error on the system. The pricing for this unit is actually $1,709. However, this aside the company has these in isolation and we are unable to order them at this time. If you could please call us we will arrange this refund for you as soon as possible."

ANd she said we cant honour this deal as this was in isolation. i dont know what that means!!

    • For gift card you need to go instore

  • +2

Just wanna count how many people have not got phone calls or cancellation notice email?
    1.order before 8:00am yesterday
2.Got the actually confirmation email (pick up)/ or may be delivery receipt
3.The money has directly deducted from ur bank (not pending, I choose directly pay through bank account)

    • +1

Can't remember what time I ordered but I have no emails/calls at all, money is gone. I ordered as a guest and then signed up to bunnings and have no order appearing there.

      • +1

        Same here

      • Same… nothing happen… i want my refund now

    • +1

    • I have money deducted receipt from PayPal and confirmation email from Bunnings. No call or email to advise this has been cancelled.

      • Ordered, Invoice Number provided (used openpay) and also a pick up location and Date for collection. (but not holding my breath)

  • I'm surprised people who haven't had orders cancelled think a drone still coming . No it doesn't matter how early you ordered .

Really would shock me if after a pricing error has been declared anyone ends up with one !

Best prize is a $50 gift card and yes it has to be fought for !

    • +2

I'm surprised with how many people that aren't in the situation you describe that are bothering to even visit these comments let alone add your own.

      • I’ve ordered early yesterday, nothing but a cc charge but not worried. If I was to say anything to Bunnings I guess it would be why I never got a purchase email I suppose or why it’s taken so long to refund. So far, zip

    • Not entirely accurate. Didnt amazon US have some sale with news clippings that when people ordered early they got there expensive price error ed items sent to their house. Like was some $5000+ camera lenses for like $100.
Some people do get lucky enough for it to process all the way ;) but like 99% wont.

    • Try again, I got a $250.

  • Ordered 8am and paid via PayPal. No calls or cancellations as of yet.

Should we set up a Facebook event page with..

"Storm Bunnings Warehouses to find our Mavic 2 Zooms"

    • Yes please. Naruto run

      I have 5 demands:

      1. The listing be removed (Achieved)
      2. The person responsible for the price error step down.
      3. Acknowledge Bunnings brutality.
      4. For the Drones that have been purchased to be released
      5. And greater online price error freedoms
      • +1

        Demands or Commands?

      • +1
        1. Accept the error and move on
        • Woooosh

          • @UberIsCool: It's never easy to tell if someone is joining our just a (profanity).

      • +2

I see what you did there ;)

      • OOO!!!!! can no.4 make it so the drones are all release at once from the warehouse and fly their way to the requested delivery address….while someone records it. that would be cooL!

      • +2

Obviously joking but after reading many responses on here, anyone could be fooled into believing your demands.

    • "They can't stop all of us!

  • +7

I jumped onto this deal because I enjoy a bit of sport fishing, but not for a second did I ever expect to score a $2000 drone for $300.

I'm just going to wait patiently for the refund. I feel bad for the people processing the refunds and the store staff having to deal with people trying to get vouchers for their "inconvenience".

I was at bunnings last night buying paint and in the 30 minutes I was there there was 3 exasperated loudspeaker calls to the "Special Order Counter". Couldn't help wondering if it was to assist Ozbargainers saying "where's my elephant?!"

  • +1

The early stages when I saw this I was trying to find stock in Bunnings Warehouse's but the bugger's even though stating all had ready stock had none . Stock was not out unfortunately . Sneak attack of physical stocks in store's before they wake up it the best approach like the famous Nikon camera event !

  • edit

    • +3

I never expected to be fulfilled

Bunnings would have gone broke if all the orders at this price were honoured

      Non sense

      • +3

Guy has no idea about Wesfarmers revenue

  • +5

I think it's possible to be a bargain afficionado (i'm a tightarse!) and still act in good faith.
Let's be a good community, aye?

  • +1

Hrmmm Let's see how this pans out. I decided to use Open pay since i didn't think I'd get it. So right now it's sitting in my Account on Bunnings saying pick up from Castle Hill next Friday (Open pay has created a schedule for me) this could be fun!

    If I get it, I get it, If i don't I don't no harm trying :)

    • +1

What's open pay .. damn should have used that instead of PayPal… Still no word yet..

  • At the very least, they should cut their losses and offer the buyers them at cost price with a SLIGHT markup to cover handling fees. That way it’s a partial win win

  • I would love to have a receipt for the purchase…

    • -1

I have a receipt paid over the phone, they sold me the goods would be 5 days, and haven’t herd anything, If they charge or give someone a receipt the have to honour it right?

      • No

        • Ok, I just read there policy and terms

  • +1

Probably using our money to pay the super they owe to employees 🤷‍♂️

  • Wouldn't they have sent everyone an email by now if they were going to cancel every order?

How hard is it to send a bulk email?

    • -3

Well, imagine there are 2-5 people working in the online order team, there's about 20,000 order to cancel, do you expect them to make that many phone call or email in a day? Bulky email? it's not as easy as you think.
Stop your bloody complaining. I'm just going to wait until they cancel my order.

      • +2

While I'm also patiently waiting, it really isn't that difficult to bulk email.

      • +4

Email system sends out to those who purchased item which is read from a database. For a company with an online shop this is simple.

      • You're organizing this whole refund thing aren't you? No wonder it's taking so long!

    • +4

They are waiting for advice from Qantas

  • +1

is this a record for ozbargain? after an hour i saw there were 20k clicks already.

    • +3

…yep its a record. 13x pages and not a single JV comment to be seen… :D

      • +3

        I hope JV is alright…

  • +2

Hands up who would do this all over again if this was posted tomorrow?

    • +8

      🖐

      • True Ozbargainers right here ^

This was a too good to be true deal and without a doubt a price error.
I jumped on it on the off chance it did actually get honoured but knew I would have $300 tied up for a week or so while they deal with the aftermath.

To all of you jumping up and down quoting consumer law and demanding a refund right now or banging on about not receiving a $50, chill out. You should have known this is the way it was going… As it has in 99% of price errors in the past.

Learn the lesson, it's a gamble and if you lose you have to lose graciously and wait the process out or simply don't try your luck on price errors in the future.

    Self entitled hobos!

    • +1

…excellent comment mate. bang on the money…

    • Self entitled hobos FML hahaha too funny man 🤣

    • That’s offensive to hobos…

    • No Gamble if u get ur money back. Too much red bull for those peeps alongside entitlement and pissy attitudes that there money is also tied up for a little bit.

    • Self entitled hobos!

      Lol love it :)

    • +1

      Well said.

If you can't afford to have $300 tied up for a few days while Bunnings sorts out the mess, then the solution is simple. DO NOT BUY IT.

    • Exactly, you would have been naive to go into this deal thinking otherwise.

Some people just live in la la land.

  • +2

Was one of the people who purchased pretty early, used Paypal, got the Paypal receipt but no Bunning receipt. Will keep an eye on this thread over the next few days to see what people are saying, but the general concensus seems to be to just wait and refunds will come eventually.

  • +5

My mate who bought over the phone at Bunnings in vermont just got a call saying that they will honour the purchase.

Aparently a few other stores around Victoria will be honoring it too
