Shhhhh.. 🤫 …. Enjoy :)

Or You can get it for $1999 @ JB Hi-Fi or HN if that is nearby ;-)

The Mavic 2 Zoom from DJI is a professional quality film making drone that gives you the ability to get closer to the action, thanks to its 2x 24-48mm optical zoom camera with a 1/2.3" 12MP sensor. With 4x lossless zoom (including 2x optical zoom) you can capture sensitive subjects from an even greater distance. There's even a single-tap aerial mode called Dolly Zoom that gives a Hitchcockian effect to your footage.

The Mavic 2 Zoom utilizes a low-drag aerodynamic body design for achieving speeds up to 47.7 mph, a four-cell LiPo battery for up to 31 minutes of flight time, and low-noise propellers for filming without being distracting. This power and performance are coupled with a variety of shooting modes and capabilities for cinematic results.

In order to help keep the Mavic 2 Zoom safe and in control, DJI has provided OcuSync 2.0 video transmission technology that can transmit a video feed to the included controller from up to 5 miles away in Full HD 1080p quality. There's also omnidirectional obstacle sensing that provides object avoidance with sensors on all sides of the Mavic 2 Zoom.

@sendcoupons: FYI- I am not going to call customer care at all for delivery then that might reduce remaining 0.001% chance to get drone 😂
If not then atleast have hopes for $20-$50 credit 😎

  • im surprised that bunnings are selling drones lol

  • +1

I am loving all this… never refreshed my email this often ever …😂😂

  • Even if Bunnings honoured these most would not see it for months. No retailer in the world would have thousands of Mavic 2 Zooms in storage (nor any prosumer product).

  • +4

As of now, I didn't get any phone call or email or refund.

  • Ive got a confirmation of money sent from Paypal but nothing from Bunnings. Guess I play the waiting game now.

    • The waiting game sucks. Let's play hungry hungry hippos.

      • Im 18 hours late but definitely keen! You go first

OP clearly said this on post but no one noticed.

        • -1

i wouldnt have posted in the hope you got 1 rather than bring it to their attention.

        • +1

I'd be happy to miss out as lOng as the only person that gets one is OP!

This is why i take my hat off to those smaller businesses who either offer compensation or in some instances honour some of the orders. Like the previous comment said, bunnings will have hundreds or not thousands of $298 orders in their bank that will yield interest, let alone the web traffic and free publicity. Yet, they won't even offer anything? Get the f outta here. #Realtalk

    • +18

Let's do the sums to prove why your theory makes no sense.

      Let's say they sold 5,000 units. 5,000 x $298 = $1,490,000
      Let's say they get 3% interest. $1,490,000 x 0.03 ÷ 365 (days) = $122 per day in interest.
Let's say they hold on to your money for 7 days. $122 x 7 (days) = $857 interest total.

Do you think $857 will make a difference to Bunnings? Do you think Bunnings needs the publicity?

      • +1

I stand corrected then. Just pissed my local bunnings won’t even offer anything.

      • +1

I bet their holding account is pretty healthy today…

      • I hope with that equation TA they add 5,000 X $50 gift cards :)

      • +1
        • Wow! Didn't take the PayPal fees into consideration lol.

  • +8

I just went in-store at Shellharbour and got my refund but after I got home and read the comments rang back and spoked to the Manager about people receiving gift cards for their inconvenience and she said that every store does it differently but she is happy to give me $50 gift card.

I was supprised to hear that but very happy with the service :)

  • +2

This has been a rollercoaster ride of comments finishes popcorn WP all Wp

  • I hope this doesn't turn out like the $0.01 Razer phone price error, which took them 5 days to send emails and process refunds.

    • -3

lady said 3-4 days for a refund, that's really not good enough

      • So you have to call bunning to get a refund or visit the store to get them to process the refund?

  • +6

I just picked up my $50 Bunnings Gift Card from the Shellharbour store and the Manager was very apologetic about not being able to fulfil the order and I was just very surprised with the excellent service they provided

  • Should I be concerned if I bought this as a guest and still have not received an email?

edit: signed up using the email I put into the order and I have nothing in my purchase list.

    • +4

I signed up as guest and bought one with paypal, never received a received a receipt from Bunnings but did get one from PayPal like others here however the order eventually appeared in the orders section in the account tab

    • +5

That’s the same as the other 10,000 of us, so don’t stress

For the people who didn’t believe about gift card for inconvenience

    • +1

A $50 voucher AND a slurpee! Life is good

    • +2

Yes, doesn't mean anything, you could have taken the GiftCard off the shelf and it's not even been activated yet.

      • +7

Some people got $50 some got $20 and some got upset

        • Well Dexy the precedent/bar is set for everyone to battle for !

        • +1

What the hell, I didn't receive a gift card?!

Oh yeah, that's right, I didn't buy the drone :P

    • You haven't really proven anything with this have you? Its just a picture of a gift card…

      • +1

Without going back through the post, pretty sure a number of people have said they've received gift cards to some value. Why wouldn't you believe him?

        • -1

Potentially thousands of people purchased one and 3 or 4 people have reported they received a $50 gift card? What reason would Bunnings even have for giving a gift card?

Do you usually believe everything you read on the internet?

          • -1

@[Deactivated]: They rang and told me and my mate that it was for the incovieiance of paying for drones and then being told price error and getting a refund

            • @Dex38313: Rubbish. How come your story changes every time you post a comment?

              • -1

@[Deactivated]: Bunnings rang me 1 hour after I order over the phone and said if u come in to the store to do your refund you will get $50 gift card
                I guess some people aren’t happy ….
My mate got a call from his Bunnings about $50 gift card for inconvenience
As I posted his message and I posted photo of the gift card some people got $20
Some got $50 and some people got upset

        • +2

I don’t believe it until they PM me the details on the back including the pin…. so I can check the balance online. Yes…

    • +4

Good on ya mate, got negged big time and came back like a boss!

      • By showing a picture of a gift card? Right.

        • What's your issue, mate? I didn't even bother with this (knowing it is a pricing error). However, I am happy that some people got compensated. It is also pretty common these days that the pricing error compensation is luck of the draw.

P.S. one of my family members has some Wesfarmers shares, so in a way, my family is paying a bit of that $50 voucher… still happy for the guys who got compensation gift cards… though Bunnings better stop these silly mistakes… otherwise I will ask my family member to sell the shares.

          • +2
          • @netsurfer: What are you on about. What do the investment decisions of your family have to do with gift cards being issued or not being issued. If you didn't bother with it then don't bother posting rubbish comments.

Why don't you look at the dribble Dex has posted on this deal today before you jump to conclusions. His previous comment down votes far outweigh this comment.

He went from telling everyone that he has ordered and received confirmation it would be honoured to 1min later telling everyone Harvey Norman had agreed to price match to 10min later saying Bunnings had told him it's a promotion item on sale until 9PM. In other words he's a troll. A BS merchant.

That's what my problem is, MATE.

            • @[Deactivated]: Some people carnt Handel the truth
I tried to order at a bunnings today special orders desk and was told
They will call back as very busy on the phone people ordering drones
I first told it was a promotion price by 3 Bunnings sale ends tonight at 9
One of my orders was canceled and I was offered a gift card as compo
But my first order at 7.45=am has not been canceled yet no email
People on here no if I post I don’t post crap !!!!!
And iv never stated that any of my orders would be honed

              • +1

                @Dex38313:

Some people carnt Handel the truth

Can they handle bad spelling though? ;)

              • @Dex38313: The story changes again. I rest my case

  • +2

I ordered at around 6:30am (QLD time) and haven't received any emails.

Strangely though, it says that my order date was 16 October…

  • +13

I was at JB today and I overheard some of the staff laughing about OZBarginers trying to price match Bunnings @ $298.
I asked them what happened and they said they didn't process it and they told them it was an obvious pricing error.

OZBarginers, trying every avenue to get a bargain! Hahahaha!

    • +10

You’re one of the ones who ruin the deal then..

      • +3

He’s trolling. Just like most of his comments.

    • Bunnings sells 'How to troll better for Dummies', you might want to spend some of your gift card on that.

  • +6

Well I haven't received a confirmation email, haven't received a cancellation email, and the order is still in my Bunnings account, and money off my card. Weird

    • Same here.

    • Same Same…purchased @ 7:46am
mine also says at the bottom "*Please note, product & pricing is correct at time of purchase."

  • +3

Best way to do performance test their web portal.

  • Just got off the phone to Bunnings and they are waiting to hear if it will be honoured or not. Fingers crossed, was literally looking at purchasing yesterday.

  • +15

Didn't get a voucher but got something better. Check this. I got a sausage with the onions on top of the snag. Stoked.

    • Onions on top? I thought they had to go under.

      • +1

        shhh. Just take it.

    • So you are one of those who were rushing to the special order stand and slipped on the onions on the floor? Now Bunnings compensated you with a free sausage sizzle.

  • I used to own a Mavic and Mavic Air, both were amazing drones but just weren't stable enough in air and had far too many drop outs so I got rid of them. Heard similar stories with the Mavic 2, hopefully the next Mavic will be improved with advanced sensors and longer battery life. Would have bought the Parrot Anafi but it has no obstacle avoidance which is a deal-breaker. Great deal nevertheless! :D

    • So which drone would you put your money on?

      • DJI phantom 3 onwards is pretty darn nice.
