  Had a 128GB variant. Write speeds were average (or below average, depending on your expectations) but it could read at over 200MB/s. Now that's hot…and yeah, because it's mostly made of metal (or something that feels like metal) it does get quite hot, even if you use it for like 2-3 minutes.

  Good for something that's read more often than it needs to written, like movies or maybe running a live Linux environment? Heh.
