That aside doesn't seem like a terrible deal for $400 with a 2g dedicated graphics. Though I don't like how they don't say what's the history, how old or where these are from makes me feel a bit suss about it all.
Ie. ex lease/refurb/ex display etc. Just 'great condition'… I have no idea if it's even worth $400 at all.
It IS worth $400 but to just about no one here.
The cpu is good and new-ish being on two gens behind and it does have enough ram but the screen hdd warranty etc. is all below par

I got a brand new asus tuf fx505dd for $839.20 from futu online on ebay last night.
While it is twice this price its new with 2 year warranty ect.
@Seedy seed: Thanks seedy seed, I have seen good deals around that price like the recent ones posted by TA but I don't think it's worth it for me.. I only want it to play an online card game lol I have a great desktop at home already, it's purely for convenience and when travelling (about 4 times a year)

Im using the laptop to do shift notes for work aswell as my cert 4 in community services on sleepovers.
Im going to gain 10 mins a shift note back because im slow on my phone.
Figured if i was dropping $500 anyway might aswell get one with gpu as i enjoy a game, but i dont play brand new aaa on a laptop 😂
Gotta admit I do like how this site has actual photos of the items on sale.
Plenty of other refurb/2nd hand sites don’t do that, so you’re left to interpret what they mean when they say “Good” or “Excellent”.
So, for what it’s worth, I wish more sites did the same.

This. I mean to their credit they probably will 'welcome you to go to the store' but by then you might have been invested given you've gone all that way.
