What do you expect, the roosters are playing. ;)
You'd think lots of chicks would go to that…
HAHA.
$50 ticket allocations are exhausted
Wow - had no idea the NRL has such trouble selling out even their Grand Final
Saw 2 for 1 Tickets on Telstra Plus about an hour after the grand final teams were locked in too. I'm more of an AFL fan being from Perth, but not good seeing any code struggling for numbers really
Got a link to the 2 for 1 tix please?
Not surprised with all the bad publicity in recent years.
Quite often happens, especially when an out of town team plays
If it involved Sydney teams that were liked, then it would be a sell out. 2014 was impossible to get tickets for, unless you paid over and above to the scalpers.
I suppose its always going to be compared to the AFL which is just a different beast. You could have 2 non Melbourne teams and still sell the MCG (100,000) out twice over.
not surprised considering the stadium it is played out. Do tickets come with binoculars?
Once they've spent a few hundred million of tax payer money redeveloping the place for more corporate boxes, you'll love it!
Wow
I thought no one cared about easts when my dentist gave me 2 of 6 free tickets to the Melbourne - easts game last week, but cheaper tickets to the grand final?
Wow
I think they'd sell more tickets to cinema showings of various team's Mad Monday
You're right about no one caring for easts - you wouldn't even know there was a GF in the eastern suburbs, quite a contrast to Canberra I would imagine.
Yeah, talking to my dentist who hates Nick politis, I told him. When I used to visit my cousin in Bronte and uncle in Bondi, I don't think I ever saw an easts Jersey or flag or anything on a car.
Yes, can confirm that - one time Coles Rose Bay had some NRL merch, which just didn't sell. Lowered it from 10-15 dollars to $2, still no movement, then put them down to 50c, finally shifted a few, but had to send most of it to another store!
Sad when NRL tix must be flogged cheap 2 days out from the match.
