    To redeem:

    1. Open the Epic Games Launcher - If you have not downloaded and installed the Epic Games Launcher, you can do so from www.epicgames.com

    2. Create an Epic Games Account or sign in to your account and click on your Display Name at the bottom left corner - this will open your account settings menu

    3. Click “Redeem Code”

    4. Enter your 20-digit code provided in the email from Samsung

    5. Confirm the code you are redeeming is for the correct product and click “Redeem”

    6. Navigate to your Library by clicking the “Library” button on the left side of the screen

    7. Confirm that you received the product in your Library.

  • Can someone post when they do get their code. I submitted mine of the 4th Oct and waiting to give it to a friend. 2 weeks is an awfully long time to wait, I hope mine doesnt take that long

  • Not that their price is competitive, but Futu Online's ebay store has the offer on their SSDs even though they are not an official "participating reseller".

      FYI Futu Onlines is just the online store of K.S COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY. So your invoice will actually come from K.S COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY which is Participating reseller.

    No idea why some Samsung reps said the email with the redemption code will be received within 14 days after validation. The T&C clearly stated the waiting period will be within 28 days.

    the Eligible Claimant will receive an email to the Eligible Claimant’s nominated email address within 28 days from the date their claim is deemed valid by the Promoter, which provides a code which the Eligible Claimant is required to redeem.

    • Because when you submit your claim the email will say 14 days..

    Just got off the phone with them.

    Apparently developers are not releasing enough codes to Samsung.

    Also.. there is only 1 person actually validating the photos submitted to claim. You think this would have been automated in this day and age.

    Anyway long story short, told me to wait another 14 days. This is ridiculous for a digital claim.

    Samsung are really baiting people to buy their products without thinking about actually fufilling their promises.

    • I put in my claim on the first day of the promo. The validating was quick enough but still waiting for the code. if I had to guess i'd say they havnt been given a single code yet from the developers

  • on my 22nd day today, i rang again. They told me T&Cs says 28 days and the 14 days from email is incorrect.

    Told me to ring again on the 28th day. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

    I'm beyond upset at Samsung – here's a copy paste of a script I wrote to paste across multiple forums…

    As an avid gamer spending $12K on building 2 new gaming PCs primarily to play Borderlands 3, I was choosing components for my builds. I had chosen a rival's SSD for my PCs until I saw Samsung advertise a promotion for a free copy of Borderlands 3 with each of their SSD's purchased. Looking at their terms and conditions then and factoring the benefit of these games coming free, I gladly paid the extra and bought 2 of their SSDs.

    When I went to claim their SSDs, 1 claim went through fine, the other kept being rejected as an invalid serial number.

    For the claim that was submitted and successfully validated, I was sent an email referring to their terms and conditions that I'd have a key within 14 days. It is now day 11 and I have yet to receive anything. When calling them up to enquire, they said the email was wrong and that it is now 28 days and that they've changed their terms and conditions…

    For the claim that couldn't be submitted, I contacted them and the retailer and discovered that this is a known problem affecting numerous other customers, but not all. Samsung told me a fortnight ago they'd have their systems fixed in a fortnight and would contact me when the claim is ready to be submitted again. Fast forward 11 days, no contact. I called them again only to be told that it would take another 2 or so weeks…

    Putting 2 and 2 together, Samsung is now telling me that I have to wait a total of 4 weeks JUST TO SUBMIT a legitimate claim on their admittedly BROKEN claims website. In this time, they've also doubled the waiting period for the game and you guessed it, the waiting period for the game key will only begin after a claim has been submitted and validated.

    Samsung, I'm hoping you can address this incompetence swiftly and ensure it never happens again. I will be sure to share my objective account of events everywhere I possibly can, especially amongst gaming and technology enthusiast forums. It seems that in this day and age, running promotions is beyond your capability.

  • day 29 here. and nothing yet. just got off the phone with samsung. supposedly some codes have arrived and they are doing it batch by batch, so sometime this week.

  • I'm getting an invalid serial number when putting it into the redemption form page. Anyone else get the same problem? How did you resolve it?

    • i am still unable to enter my serial number in after 6 weeks. I have been in contact with samsung plenty of times. I think I will have to take this to Consumer affairs, just out of principal. I do not even want to play the game!
