  • For $350 this isn't much of a deal, MLN had an Asus dual core the other day for $350 with 2GB of ram and a 500gb hdd

"Seen a better deal? We'll beat it!" - Okay sure, beat that! Lol.

    • That was a full size laptop, this is a netbook.

Also the $358 price tag includes an external drive ($50), bag and mouse. Overall it isn't a bad deal if you actually needed those extra items.

      • -1

Thanks for pointing that out - guess it isn't a bad deal after all the included extras!

      • Harvey-Norman had dual-core ASUS EeePC 1015PEM (or similar) for under $250. (It was otherwise about the same, from memory.)

I prefer ASUS over Toshiba for quality.

So, this is NO DEAL for me.

        About the included "extra's"…

        • I like to chose my own accessories
        • I pay much less for each one

So, for me, I can beat the deal by NOT accepting
        this vendor's accessory choices (& list-price valuations)

I'd beat it by buying a dual-core Atom-based netbook (preferably by ASUS, in my case) - sans accessories - for $249 (I'd save at least $90, choosing my "extras").

    • +3

Another classic apples-oranges (Netbook vs laptop, Toshiba vs Asus et al) response.

      Arrrrrrrgh!

      • Lol - I just hadn't read the description properly and though this was a notebook.

  • good price but not much of a deal.
$250 retravision dual core N570 + $50 external DVD drive +$10 sleeve off ebay

everyone has a spare mouse at home anyway, with bundles the stuff you don't need is always a hassle

    • I have to agree with you. It's not a bad deal, but it's not a great deal either.

There is alot of goodies included though.
