    Bought initial 600aud worth worked fine

    It worked for me after a few attempts! Was worried about international transaction fee as it was purchased on Ebay UK. but no fee was charged!

        There is not because you are buying it as an international purchase on eBay UK, so it charges in AUD as the store is Australian.

    What happens if I use the gift cards to buy say a second hand item eg phone and the seller doesn’t send it. How would you make a claim? Would I have any protection against fraudulent sellers?

    I mistyped my email when creating a UK account on ebay. Bought gift cards and checked my email for confirmation but there was none. Then I realised I mistyped my email on ebay and emailed for order cancellation and changed my ebay email to the correct one. Hopefully they either cancel it or send it to my updated email address lmao

        Call them and they can fix it up on the spot. I have done this previously where I left the .au off the end of my email address. They changed it whilst I was on the phone and the cards arrived minutes later.

      My friend made the same mistake. Instead of emailing them you just call paypal and tell them about this and they will resend the gift cards to your paypal registered email address. It is paypal who sells these gift cards.

          What was suggested in a previous uk giftcard deal… If you use gmail, just use the same gmail address you use for your aussie ebay account, then add a "+uk" or something into the address.

          Any mail to the + addresses goes to your main gmail account… Kinda cool…

    I had 2 failed $600 orders earlier today (no indication it had failed, they both just mysteriously disappeared from ebay purchase history and I didnt receive any emails) but I just tried a $500 order, and selected a diff payment card with paypal, and it worked (i.e. received confirmation email and paypal transaction receipt instantly). Turns out the discount for the $500 order is the same as $600 anyway, so, all the better for me.

      OK figured it out.
      Primary address has to remain UK, but mailing address has to be AU.

      But couldn't get my PayPal to work :(

      Get an error saying the option isn't available atm.
