And a bunch of great laptop deals.

  • Is this some kind of joke? oh its not the t tab

  • There's only 1 telstra T-tab, you can call it the T-touch, Telstra Tab, Telstra FailTab, Huawei S7 tablet and so on but it's the same device.

Sorry OP none of the deals are that good, there have been much better laptops for sale in the past few weeks.

Dick Smith sold it for $99. And its the best advertisement for not doing android.

I've converted mine to a large GPS unit and it just passes at that. Saving the 5GB data plan for sometime when I am doing a bit of travelling

    T touch = T thump

Most interestingly when it came out a number of writers declared it as an ipad killer and that was when it was selling for $399. Gotta wonder….

maybe an ipad killer if you threw it at an ipad?

      • ha ha, u'r damn right.

    • I think its a device well worth $ 99 bucks. after getting the custom rom update, it works quite nicely, its a decent device for wifi tethering as well and coming from vodafail experience, Telstra network is blazing fast. the device itself is definitely faster than Overrated Optus My tab. I have used both and apart from pathetic battery life i could not fault T-tab at $ 99.

  • I bought one from Dicksmith for $99. So $149 is not a deal

Even for $99, the screen response is terrible. Ended giving it to my dad as a massive phone and GPS

  • soo many dad's using these as phones hehe.

    • I agree, My dad didnt have a clue what android was until i gave him TTab. he is very happy because solitaire works nice on it and its a giant phone!!!! who could beat that..

  • Fair enough to all, i thought that seeing the $99 deal had gone that this was the best price out there at the moment? As to the laptop deals, depends what your after. As someone hunting a low power, light, 13", laptop but with a long battery life, the ASUS for $599 is a good deal.

  • Plenty of people on Whirlpool think the device is quite resonable, especially after running the 2.2.2 Froyo Norwegian update, which allows you to run flash content, unlock the device, as well as other improvements. If you were able to get this for $99 then that would be a reasonable deal.

    • Screen response is still terrible even with this update - its a $99 device - at its best
