    awesome deal!

  • Damn, so c..cl…ose to 2tb. =D

  • Do either of these retailers have the USB 3 adaptor they can sell and ship alongside the Drive?
If not anyone know of a currently cheaper option that that at estore.com.au ?

  • +1

The ozstock one apparently lets you choose usb 2 or usb 3 adapter and cable for the same price.

    • I don't think it does but wording is obtuse - the giveaway is they link to the USB3 upgrade on another site! :/

      • well there u go -.-

    • hmm in that case the ozstock deal is much better

      provided u can actually choose

      • You can not choose - just the USB2 interface provided

  • Seems Shopping Square has the USB3 Upgrade Cable for $25.95
Pity even their combined shipping reduction sux

    • cheaper @ DSE too

  • will officeworks price match this?

  • Is this actually powerable from USB? The last time I tried that, it was with a WD Scorpio Blue single platter (or maybe 2, I cant remember) 640GB and it didnt work reliably on USB bus power at all. That was only a few months ago. I can't imagine things have changed that much since then to make 1.5TB drives bus powerable. Or do these things have built-in power buffering (small rechargeable battery or pile of big capacitors)?

  • Hi Guys:

Just got one from OW. $137.70
I had scan the Invoice, but don't how to upload it.
