It has a hint of sweet, but not outrageously sweet. Very pleasant taste and interesting wine to look at. It is nice with food and desert.

"interesting taste", "lowish in alcohol" - and it's blue, and it costs $10 per bottle?
I'm certainly not convinced by this deal.
Perhaps $5.70 for a case might enable you to move this one on. lol

having a bad smell or appearanceI have amended the post, sorry for the typo. It was meant to be "fun" not "funky".

Never tried!
here is some info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_wine
What is with these Dan's "direct from supplier" deals? Not good enough to stock on their shelves? Small quantities? They want customer feedback before buying it themselves?
its a chance for smaller or newer suppliers to sell their products, either because dan murphys wont/cant/unable to stock them on their shelves, or it doesnt fit DM's business model
The products we sell through Dan Murphy's are of premium quality, they get tested, tasted and go through 2 levels of quality assurance. Dan Murphy's wine tasting panel ranked some of ours 94 points : https://www.danmurphys.com.au/search?searchTerm=Hartigan+win…. Can not comment on why these are not on shelve though, its Dan's policy and program…
