        Thanks heaps for the tip
        Seems to be working.

        • Did you try playing content?

I get all usa catalog but wen playin Netflix on sheild tv says proxy detected

          • @Mitr: Yeah, worked on my Sony android tv.

Looks like a bit of luck might be required though

          • @Mitr: Did you try the exact server I mentioned? Just clicking USA isn't enough.

  • My subscription is just about to run out, is it possible to just make a new account to get this offer?

    • Don't see why not, it's for "new" customers so as long as you make a new account it'll be fine

  • Imma wait for that 100% discount

  • Nsurl error on the app?

  • Anyone tried prime video with US server - tried multiple but it detects and wouldn't play?

    • with a US or AUS prime membership?

      • AUS Prime Membership

        • Didn't think prime memberships worked in other regions.

If it does, I'd be even happier getting this deal

  • Considering grabbing it for the sake of security, but a few weeks ago cancelled my nord subscription in the 30 day trial period. Anyone have any idea if this would work as a "new account" signing back up? 100% not keen on juggling several emails

  • 107.55 usd comes to $156.43 aud, don't know why cashback is showing only $133.
So it comes to around $40, and not $19.

So it comes to around $40, and not $19.

      $157 - $133 = $24 (not $40)

      • +1

        oh… #facepalm
I was thinking 133 was being tracked :p

      • Mine is $161 -$133 = $28

50% more, But still a bargain.

  • Thanks, I was with ipvanish until now. Too good not to switch.

  • Some websites are blocked on my work laptop even on my home network. Will using VPN resolve this and will the company know the websites I have accessed?

    • +1

      Yes

    • -1

      No

    • +2

No it won't work even with VPN. The MAC address of your laptop has been blocked. Only the admin has rights to unblock it again.

      • How do you know that?

    • +1

It'll depend on how they've set it up.

  • What would be a good test show or movie to search for, to confirm that you are looking at Netflix US and not Netflix AU?

    • Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)

      • +1

Thanks. It came up, so it must work with Nord VPN.

  • Hi,
When I go to buy the service through cash back I use the USA drop down to have VAT at 0? When I go to enter credit card details it asks for postal code. If I put my Australia post code will that make a difference?. Anyone already done this with Australia postal code in details?.

    Thanks

    • Try to add 0 in front of your actual postcode.

    • +2

I think that portion is for credit card verification purposes….I put my postcode to ensure payment processes proper.

  • Thanks. Has anyone tried to use this overseas to login to their banking?
Planning on using this in Bali so I can still bank.

  • I have indefinite windscribe subscription. Worth paying again for nordvpn too?

    • -1

No, you should only use 1 VPN at a time.

If you're having problems with Windscribe, then you should contact them for support.

  • looked up the review on truthpilot. some say its good some say its bad. unless you want to spend more then go for sth like expressvpn or vyprvpn. theyre good speed but then a bit pricy.
so good so far and cashback works perfectly.

  • Purchased at 9:09am today, still haven't received confirmation from cashreward. Should I be worried?

    • Me too I am concerned but glad I’m not alone

      • I received my confirmation of cash back and it is also showing now in my account as payment pending

    • yeah same here, also first time using cashrewards, don't know how and where I can know that the transaction went through the cashback.

      • Purchased yesterday at 12:55pm and still waiting for cash rewards confirmation. Shows in clicked history.

Per the instructions, signed up to the 3-year plan, paid in USD and it's all up and running. Didn't even get any confirmation email from Nord VPN which I thought was odd.

That said, for me every higher cash reward these days seem to be like this, I will open a case in 7 days and they will tell me my adblocker or I did not add it at the right time, etc. etc.

Will have to cancel if it doesn't come through.

        • I received a welcome email from NordVPN straight after I signed up for the 3 year plan. Will see in the next 7 days.

          • @tonynkh: Hi tonynkh. You should well and truly have received a tracking email by now. Please check your CR account in case the transaction is there and the email went to your spam folder. If no luck, there's a possibility NordVPN identified your email address as a return customer, or your transaction was attributed to another channel (OzB, Google, Honey etc). We can still lodge a claim on your behalf, but please keep in mind there's the possibility the claim will be declined by them. If you don't want to go down this path and avoid the risk factor, you do have the safety net to cancel within the first 30 days at no cost.

            • @tightarse: Thanks for your reply. I checked my email and junk folder again, no tracking email. My clicks appears in the click history. How do I go about lodging a claim? Wait for 7 days and use 'Send a claim' in My Click History?

              • @tonynkh: Please turn on Private Messaging in your OzB settings and ping me, and we'll go from there :)

    • +1

I think tracking may take a bit of time depending on the circumstances. If you don't get any tracking email (maybe check junk), just check your account to see if it tracked first and then otherwise it might be best to follow up with CR support after the 7 day grace period. You've also got a 30 day window to cancel your VPN subscription if you have any troubles :)

  • Hey everyone, how would this compare to something like the free Windscribe VPN that gives you 60gb a month? Speed wise?

    • +1

I have the free windscibe. Paid NordVPN so far, from my experience is faster.
