  • Thanks, it's showing in the app too (Waverley Gardens) :)

Still available. Just casually fly over Mulgrave now.

  • thanks, still available.

  • Bloody hell and nsw 7-eleven has the tenacity to charge $1.65 for 91…

    • +3

      Ran out of 98?

  • Thanks, picked up the voucher…

Locked in after a quick flight from Brisbane and back

      I'm on Android 9 pie.
Could someone tell me the best way to do on my phone?
      Or direct link please??

I tried the simple Mock location and the app said it has recorded it I don't wanna get banned either.

      • The easiest way for me to do it is to use the Docker app linked in the thread. Do it using the docker app, then sync the price to my (mostly)stock phone.

  • +1

Locked in a much higher price less than an hour ago :(

    • That is why you need 2 Accounts.

      • Did you setup 2 accounts with 2 different driver licences?

        • +2

Only need a licence if you link a credit card. Just use gift cards.

  • Locked in! Almost time to refuel and was hoping for a good deal so this is extremely timely- thanks OP!

  • Thank you!

    • +18

      Drive to Melbourne… :)

    • Take a helicopter, need to get those fuel savings!

      • +1

It's because if we promote spoofing apps to much they can get shut down.
        I didn't neg vote though.

    • -5

Have no idea why people (babies stuck in adult bodies) voted you down. Is he stealing? He'll pay fair like everyone else for the price that the gas station is happy to sell petrol for, is it a fraud to save? Isn't ozbargain about saving? Are we still in kindergarten? Teacher, teacher! He used the blue crayon more then me, wahhhh, wahh 😢

Seriously babies, seriously? Behave like adults, not like jealous, envious babies. You'll live happier if you mind your own life:)

Just bounces back to the lock screen for me. Any ideas?

    • +1

Most likely because you have locked in more than 2 times in the last 24hrs

      • Not most likely.
        100% the reason

      • Even if it's two different accounts?

        • +2

          Same device, yes.

          • @[Deactivated]: Thanks for confirming, I'll use a second device next time.

        • +1

          100% yes.
Limitation is on device ID, not accounts

  • Locked, thanks OP!

  • Thanks

  • Thanks OP. Locked in.

  • Champion. Thanks OP.

Think project zero isn't working as well as it used to.

  • My helicopter needs to refuel too…

    • +1

I also need to pay rental for my helicopter…

Will i get better milage with U98?

  • +1

Thanks OP for taking the time to post the deal. Locked in.

  • Thanks OP. Heading to Melb.

7 eleven 98 fiel is nowhere near the same quality as BP or shell. You can definitely tell the difference in a turbo car. Just keep driving…

    • +1

What's the difference? Doesn't all fuel in Australia come from the same few refiners?

      • Yes, pretty much. Additive packages vary. The main difference would be how long the petrol sits in the underground tanks and the condition of the tanks. You can get (slightly) stale petrol from anywhere.

        • Although the 91 @ 7-11 Waverley Gardens seems to be fairly fresh, given it seems to run out every other week ;-)

          • @[Deactivated]: Or might also be a indicator of fuel rust entering people's tanks if they are emptying the large storage under ground

    • +1

i have seen some 7-11 use mobile and some use Shell

    • -2

Agree wrt the engine responsiveness of my car in BP vs 7-11… but for the price point you can't argue. Can't say its any worse than BP95 though (I.e. on par) and no engine knocking etc so it's definitely better than 91.

    • +1

I drive a euro turbo car car that requires 95 min

I figured 7/11 fuel may not be of the highest standard but I assume their 98 will be better then 95 from BP, Shell etc..?

      • +2

Where do you get the impression that "7/11 fuel may not be of the highest standard"? 7-11 fuel is from Mobil, ExxonMobil. 98 octane fuel is all from the same place, and each supplier (Mobil, Shell, BP etc.) just add their different additives to it. The only variance is the additives, which doesn't affect the fuel quality. All are up to 50ppm sulfur content.

        • My opinions based from people who have stage 2-3 Audi's & Volkswagen's that have changed their tune maps from 95 ron to 98 ron and had different dyno outputs using BP 98 vs the likes of Caltex 98 for example

I know there's a lot of variables such as engine temp, external temp, the servo itself etc… At the end of the day i'm happy using discounted 98 from 7/11 hoping its better than the range of 95 available

          • @Sunny84: https://www.celtictuning.se/dynos/dynamometers

If you have a turbo your outputs are going to vary wildly between runs anyway

          • @Sunny84: Do you have Stage2 or 3 engine tunes? If not, then don't worry and use whatever 95/98 you wish.
It's only when you start wringing every last KW out of the engine with your big turbo, downpipe, intake, bigger intercooler, etc etc that you want to tune it for a specific fuel (or even E85).

So much misinformation in what you just said.

    • +1

Yeah that's why you use a modded app

edit: I definitely do not condone using modded apps, I choose to make the drive. Worth it.

        • I'm using my helicopter too!! It's very zippy and I get to and from quite quickly

my nox goes back to the home screen when i try to lock it in. does anyone know why or how to fix this?

    • You've used up two locks per 24 hrs.
Create another instance of nox, it should have a diff android ID on it then.

      • perfect. thanks

  • Thanks OP

The money saved on fuel was enough for my helicopter to fly by Waverley Gardens to lock it in and back home.

  • Darm! I have locked in twice on my device today. Of course the father needed fuel today whilst I filled up

    • +2

PM'd. I got you, thanks for learning to DIY back in feb, one of the few that actually learnt after I helped.

    • Just use another phone login and you should able to lock it again!

Tried on 2 of my iPhones and it's working well.

      • +2
