The sockets are tight. Bad workmanship. Not recommended.
We have these same powerboards in the meeting rooms at my office. I gotta say I find the quality to be very good. They get mistreated, thrown on the floor and tossed across meeting tables and function perfectly. YMMV I suppose…
I don't doubt that you can throw them around and they won't break.
But plugging things in and removing them meets a lot of resistance. You will eventually damage plugs if you frequently remove and plug things in, which I am doing because there's only 4 sockets.
Other power strips like the Crest ones from woolies aren't this tight.
I had no problems with mine but it has a cheap plastic feel to it. Plain white, no colors, someone with poor eye sight won't be able to tell if it's on or off from a distance.
Yeah I think the switches could do with a line of orange to indicate whether theyr'e on or not.
When half of them are on and the other half are off, it's hard to tell which ones are on and which ones are off. And you don't want to accidentally turn something off when it's in operation.
