        When you go to checkout you click pay in store and then swipe your gift card. Must be a physical one

    So what’s the impact of the latest change? Seems like no change to the city stores? Just limited to 2 at the bigger stores?

      Limit of $50 spend in the city stores. Surely Ozbargainers aren’t gaming the system?

        Read the previous page, there already was a 50 dollar limit on metro stores. Guessing it is more to do with Mona vale and double bay being limited to just two more shops.

        That's because last week we crashed the system. They had 50 people using the app at once in Mona Vale and it went down bad. They had to re-scan everything via registers and give discounts manually.

              @singingwolf: Interesting. I went up there last week and was only one - went thru quickly. Plenty of staff spruiking it though.

              Went to the city today- basically the discount is capped at $12.50 whereas previously it wasn’t.

              Did back to back transactions and wasn’t an issue though.

            All the massive 3 meter tall 25% signs are also gone…

    Waaah that's rough. As if Woolies can't absorb the 25% loss, they probably still making plenty of profit not to mention reducing staff via this system.

    Double Bay Woolies - no discount today, nor parking on Scan and Go app. Staff member helped us to extend parking but had no idea what to do with discount, so paid full price and left our details for someone from Woolies to call us and sort it out - no call so far…

          Wow PennyPincher was right. Store was packed today, everyone doing scan&go. Not sure how they can get away with not honouring the original dates advertised in store with 3meter high massive posters…

          Thanks for the heads up. Don't need tissue, toilet paper out paper towel for a year now…..
