Price in title. Simply shed link is also incorrect.

Friend, you linked your cart, not the shed.

Shed available at Simply Sheds for $149.00 - price match at Bunnings (down from $269.00).

    Looks good.

    Other sheds on clearance

    • Does Bunnings price match on clearance items?

      • Yes and beat by 10% ohhhh and bunnings also beat eBay prices have done for over 8-10 years sofar

      • "Excludes trade quotes, stock liquidations and commercial quantities" - I'd say "clearance" = stock liquidation, therefore I doubt they'd match it :(

        • Yeah 2nd Bunnings that I went to and refused to price match or beat cause either:

1- model isn't the same as Absco as Simply Sheds model isn't noted, or
2- product on Simply Sheds is listed as factory clearance

Interested to know if anyone was able to price beat at Bunnings (receipt maybe).

      • No idea, but the OP thought so.

  • Big enough to swing a cat in

    • Cat-o'-nine-tails or the furry critter?

  • Anyone actually got one of their sheds and can recommend? Not sure what size I need yet as it's going to a not yet built house.

I'd get one, except that would involve laying a concrete slab to bolt it to, and that means dirty hands. The Phantom has clean hands.

      • +2

I sometimes go to a place and I get my hands dirty, in exchange they give me money. Maybe you could try finding someone gullible enough to pour a concrete slab in exchange for money?

      I got one, good shed

One big pain in the ass to put together tho!!!!

    • +2

Bought one of their off the walls last year. Great, especially for the price but agree that it's a bit of a pain to put together. Mind you, I doubt other brands are much better.

  • Non of these specials seem any different to what Simplysheds offer at any other time?

I bought one about 1 year ago. Don't expect any more than about one-third of the pre-drilled holes to line up when assembling! A huge PITA.

    Thanks OP.

Bunnings price beat (by 10%) on their larger clearance shed (3m x 3m) $349 (ignoring shipping) at Simply Sheds.
    https://www.simplysheds.com.au/factory-clearance-shed-3m-x-3…

$599 at Bunnings, which came out to be to $314.

Next weekend the fun begins ! Fortunately I only need to extend an existing slab slightly.

    • OK, so Bunnings will beat it by 10%. Cheap but decent shed…

  • Bunnings refused to price beat due to
    -clearance model
    - brand not listed on simply shed

    • Yeah sounds hit-and-miss.

You may wish to try another Bunnings if you're able…

Absco is mentioned at the very bottom in the fine print. It took me a while to find it and convince them as I was also first rejected on the basis of “it does not state the brand”. But I did persist, then they insisted on exact colour match, so had to swap the shed after they helped get the first “incorrect colour” out to the front of the store for us.

If they are now working on the *don’t price beat clearance” perspective it may be difficult to get this over the line.

Probably not worth your hassle of a second trip to a store to try again. Perhaps I was lucky this time.

Thanks to the OzBargain community for yet another opportunity to spend my hard earned.
