I disagree.
Okay. Any reason or you just disagree for the sake of it?
It's a good deal (as voted by users), and it doesn't pop up as frequently as you're making it out to be.
Remember the reason these deals hit the front page is users vote for it.
You can also hide these deals, if you want.

Today (obvs).
Should I go on? The only month it wasn't posted is June and I'd assume that's because of EOFY.
You can also hide these deals, if you want.
If I block this deal doesn't that just block everything from eBay.com.au?
@Tacooo: Still, not as frequently as you make it out to be.

I'm pretty sure there's a way to hide deals by keyword, but you'll need to figure that out.

No, clicking hide you will see 2 options:
Hide deals from store Zzz Atelier
Hide deals from store eBay Australia
@hamza23: Thanks Hamza.
@Tacooo: Oh no you didn't! Where can people stock up on some cheap ointment for that burn delivered!
Good pricing, wish they have free delivery into Perth.
Good mattresses. Note that they have changed their design and are slightly thinner now. Still just as comfortable.
It says 34cm, that’s the same as before.
Still sleeping on a King - costs a bit to shipping to WA as mentioned - contact them about shipping if your not on the East coast for a quote.
Only gripe is the bottom edges are not firm enough / collapses a bit when putting on fitted sheets, sleeping wise its been great little hotter than your average mattress in the height of summer.
How long do these codes normally last?
at 200$, if you get 2-3 years out of it, you've made your money back.
How's this compare to Ergoflex for comfort, heat and back support? Reviews seem very positive https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/zzz-atelier-mattre…
Queen Super Firm Mattress $215.20 + post
Do they still offer 60 day free returns for eBay purchases? No mention of it in the eBay ad. Only 30 day returns, buyer pays postage.
Answer: No
Thanks for contacting us on this.
We are selling genuine Zzz Atelier mattresses at steeply discounted price here acting as the outlet store model. As such, our selling price did not cost in the 60 days comfort assurance program, and hence we do not advertise them here. For this reason, all items purchased via us are not eligible for return under the 60 days comfort assurance program.
Thinking of the bright side of this, when purchasing the mattress at a very low price, it may worth taking a shot as the mattress can easily be used as a guest mattress if it doesn't suit your comfort preference
Warm regards,
Zzz Atelier Outlet
How's this popular one compared to IKEA's?
Only got my Zzz last week, so can’t comment much. But IKEA ones around this price range are to avoid
Agreed, my partner got the IKEA ones at this price point, quickly replaced after I tried out this mattress. The cheap IKEA ones are way too thin
I've had a queen IKEA Hidrasund for about 4-5 years and it's been a very good value mattress. Not "wow" comfortable like some others, but very reliable and comfortable, which is pretty good given sleepers ranging 90KG - 110KG. But anything cheaper in their spring range is rubbish (Hidrasund is now $899 with our current weak-dollar - used to be $549). You can tell straight away when you lie on them. The Hidrasund doesn't have heaps of padding already but just enough. I tried a topper in-store but it removed too much support, bowing my back.
The IKEA Hidrasund gets 72%, ranked 5th, and Recommended on Choice.
The IKEA Morgedal gets 68%, ranked 8th, and still Recommended on Choice.
For reference, 1st is Sleeping Duck at 75% (albeit with some strongly disagressing user reviews)
No experience with the Zzz for comparison unfortunately.
Thanks.
So even the original price was close to double the eBay one.
Was looking at IKEA but they seemed expensive (for ikea) . I remember Years ago (many many years ago) ikea mattresses weren’t even standard Aussie sizes
Do sheets actually fit over a mattress that thick? All I can picture is a mattress muffin-top.
Yeah I know with an IKEA Hidrasund the sheets from IKEA only fit the mattress, but not if you add a mattress topper (kind of dumb - at least on-paper their specs say they don't fit a mattress any bigger).
Yes. All my fitted sheets fit over the mattress nicely. (King size)
Fitted sheets bought from Kmart, Target, Amazon AU
I have had this bed in king for 18 months and the sheets fit fine and the bed is very comfortable.
Normal sheets "fit", but they're a little deformed. The corner ends up an inch or two up the mattress and they don't look as tidy on the sides.
You'll want extra deep fitted sheets if you care about that, but otherwise any standard sheets are usable still
I strongly reccomend this bed :) it helps my back especially after a deadlifts or squats.
However if you sleep on the side not as comfy to begin with but got used to it i guess
why did someone neg you?
i found your comment useful :)
Difference in opinion probably
Can we add headboard to these? If so, where can we buy it from? TIA
Sean.
It's just the mattress so you would need to buy a bed frame/base first anyway.
Thanks bteq - I thought its ensemble. Thanks again.
Sean.
This bed has good reviews but since changing to this matress (queen) I've had a sore lower back every morning when waking up. Had for over 3 months now and flipped matress end to end but to no avail.
Could be a coincidence but yeah..
Anyone else had similar issues? I'm a side sleeper if that helps.
I never had issue with this mattress
But maybe a support pillow in your case?
https://www.target.com.au/p/target-body-pillow/60082374
I sleep on sideways too and had horrible back pain with this mattress. Bought a mattress topper and so far it’s seems ok.
thanks for the advice. Yeah I wasn't sure if it was mattress or just coincidence but certainly lines up timing wise.
Yeah I'm having leg pain from this mattress which doesn't occur when I sleep on any other bed. It was really bad when I first got it, its now less so but still there.
Do people think a mattress topper might work? And if so, can recommend one that won't cost as much as the mattress?
At this point I'm considering selling this mattress and getting something completely different.
I had this for a week or two when I first got mine. Went away on holiday for a few weeks, came back and it was fine.
I think it related to the top foam layer still expanding, was a good inch or two thicker when I got back. It does actually say in instructions to give it a few days to expand before using the bed.
Yeah I left mine for days before I used it, and the leg pain has persisted for months, even after going away on holiday and coming back to the mattress.
This mattress king size vs Sleeping Duck?
As someone who has had both I say save your pennies and buy this one. The Sleeping Duck is over-rated
Anyone sags?
My butt does, confusingly my moobs are surprisingly perky.
I will not mention my darling wife, for fear of death.
The winter weather will do that to your moobs.
lmao people complaining about a 200 dollar mattress… you spend at least 7 hours a day in bed every day, invest in a better mattress.
No offence to the seller etc.
I am sure its a good mattress for guests but I would never buy this as my regular mattress.
"invest in a better mattress"
This is a better mattress than pretty much everything else under $1000.
$1000 is still cheap for a good mattress, people pay upwards of 3k
Can you recommend me a good mattress under $1k?
Single, male, 24 y/o, never been good at sleeping.
Plenty of disposable income but hate wasting money. Are mattresses over 1k really worth the extra for someone in my position?
I have a suggestion. Go to your local Freedom store and give this mattress a look: https://www.freedom.com.au/bedroom/mattress-brands/whitehave…
Price will be around $700 if you can access Freedom e-gift cards. Bought this mattress for my guest room and everyone loves it, can't believe it when I tell them it was a $700 mattress.
Hey thanks for the advice, I'll have a look :)
I replaced an over $2000 mattress with this one and my husband and I really like it, better than the expensive one.
WORST MATTRESS EVER
that is all , see other threads as to why
the mattress is alright
what other mattress do you recommend?
I bailed and spent money on an orthokinetik grandeur plush (wife's choice)
.. it's okay - which is to say a billion times better than this one
looks good.
is it firm or soft?
the topper part looks huge, does it hug you when you lay on it?
@edBARGAIN: The non plush version called 'support' is firmer.
Both have the same support
I personally prefer firmer (and it's cheaper)
@Scythic: thanks
Damn 15 times as expensive though
@Caped Baldy: And doesn’t have good reviews going by the link above.
@PVA: Yeah not an endorsement on my part. There just isn't anything I have wrong with it .
I'm sure there is better.
As said, I prefer firmer and got the one called plush….that's marriage yo
Any recommended bed base/frame?
I use a Grimsbu (queen) from IKEA and slats cut at Bunnings from MGP10.
(IKEA slats are not suitable for this mattress)
Is it easy to assemble getting slats cut at Bunnings? I've never assembled a bed base before so not sure on this.
Also can anyone comment on the zzz Atelier one? $139.2 for a queen after the 20% off
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Queen-Double-King-Single-Ens…
You just send them an email or give them a call with what you need done & confirm the price and they'll let you know when it's available for pickup.
You can space the slats with some polypro (aka. plastic strapping) - either one loop around each slat or with a nail/staple gun. Consider using Velcro strips instead of polypro for easy disassembly.
I was suppose to do a comparison of the normal vs super firm last time but forgot.
I started with the regular black Chiropractic 34cm one, and it is impressive, build quality is great, nice and warm it's essentially a normal mattress with a built in 10cm memory foam pillow topper, and this is the problem for me.
I'm a 90kg 182cm tall guy who sleeps on his front and side and has been using a firm mattress for the last 15 years at least. The 10cm of memory foam causes my back to bend in a way I'm not used to, which results in major lower back pain within 30 minutes of laying on it (which I had never experienced in my life) the only way for me to sleep on this is on my back, which I don't like.
My girlfriend however found it to be fine but she is only 55kgs.
It's also not great for sex as the foam absorbs a lot of the momentum and makes you work harder haha.
Anyway I got the ultra firm to replace it and put the other one in the spare room, the ultra firm has 2cm of ultra high thickness foam instead of 10cm of regular foam. It is really firm, a mattress topper is 100% required, otherwise you might as well sleep on a concrete floor. It is also the size of a normal matress, not the impressive extra high of the normal one. When using a topper it's been great.
TLDR
The normal one is a much better mattress if you are used to a soft mattress or sleeping on your back, the ultra firm one requires an extra $100 for a topper to make it usable, but still good value imo.
good review and thanks.
a couple of questions;
what topper did you get for the super firm mattress?
and is the super firm one like sleeping on the floor (as in firmness)?
and what slates did you put your super firm mattress on?
My Mum had this topper on her spare bed and it's the first one I've used so I'm not sure what brand it is, about 6cm thick I would say. I also used one of those 2cm foam underlays under the topper but I'm not sure how much difference it makes.
May be a slight exaggeration but the extra firm is very hard, it was even to hard for my girlfriend who grew up in china on ultra hard mattresses, so a topper is required for it IMO.
Shitty old bed frame with crappy slats, should be fine on anything.
thanks Kegs,
so i guess it is super concrete hard
will have to rethink about it now lol
Were you using the standard black model on those crappy slats? That may account for some of the back pain.
@Lukian: Yea that could be a part of the problem for sure, on a base with better middle support it could be a lot less of an issue.
No king size? :(
May I please ask for assistance on the difference between them?
Seems there are:
Extra firm (self explanatory)
34cm cm euro top(seems to be a 5 zone?
preimum euro top, seems to be a 7 zone?
thank you and apologies if this was asked before.
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/QUEEN-SINGLE-KING-DOUBLE-Size-Ma…
Is this the same mattress by a different seller? Can anyone tell me please because if it is , its one of the worst mattresses ever and i'd ask people not to waste their money on buying it. I've been using it for 1.5 years and i have developed a severe back pain, the mattress is sagging to one side and if u even sit in it for more than an hour your lower back gets very painful. I am a 77 kg male side sleeper.
I think this is certainly another brand Gisele, their product on Groupon Catch as well.
What slats are you using it on?
Looks like the stock is back and all the sizes are now available…
PAPA20 - This code can't be applied to your order - when checking out… What am I missing?
Tried using different browsers, different pc's… mobile app…. Ended up checking out as a guest to get the deal. Seems something related to my account was blocking it…
Worked for me. Just bought one!!
Do these come delivered rolled up in a box ?
If so, won't the compression kind of impact the springs inside it?
nvm, found the answer :) compressed and rolled in a box.
Does anyone know what the difference is between these two items:
QUEEN Mattress *5 Zone Pocket Spring Mattress Latex Foam EuroTop *Chiro Endorsed
$309
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/QUEEN-Mattress-5-Zone-Pocket-Spr…
and the
Queen Double King Single Mattress Bed Euro top Pocket Spring Latex Chiropractic
$289
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Queen-Double-King-Single-Mattres…
The descriptions are exactly the same, but the price is different.
5 zone, chiro latex spring matress. Can't tell what the differences are..
Mine turned up 2 days ago.
First off, can’t believe they can fit a queen size mattress in such a small box!
Once it was unpacked, I left it for several hours to fully expand. I’ve now slept on it, and have to say it’s a VERY comfortable mattress. Fantastic for the price.
The only con I have at the moment is that it has a bit of a chemical smell, but that will dissipate over time. I’m letting the mattress air out each morning. It’s not potent, but it is noticeable.
One of the best purchases I have ever made!
Yes we like ours too and have had it for 18 months. The smell will be gone soon.
I really don't think this place should be bargained considering this same sale appears to happen on a weekly or fortnightly basis now.
Edit: but I do enjoy the lively debate around it -_____-
