  Then also looking a solution for rear bookshelf speakers in a new media room. Was planning on putting them on speaker stands, but not sure this is actually the best option. Want them at around ear height as I've read thats where they are meant to be. But Selby offer a 600mm high and a 900mm high. Even at 900mm they might not be above a reclining media room chair.

  Was then considering wall mounting (https://www.selby.com.au/tv-brackets-stands/speaker-brackets…) which might work better. Where would you put the speaker cable wall plates if i did this. At the height i plan on mounting them, or at 350mm off the ground like a power point.

    Just give them a call. They're super helpful at recommending the best components for your particular setup. It'd be way too hard to recommend anything without knowing anything about your place - e.g. is it brick/concrete or drywall for the wall mount? For drywall do you have any studs you can mount on, etc. etc.

    Any cabling through walls would require an electrician anyway.

  Tv hasn't fallen down yet sooo yeah, good stuff!

  Use these guys for a lot of the cheaper AV fit outs I do. Never had a problem with any of their gear.
