Well, what you're doing is outright illegal while this may or may not be..
Well, to access these amazon deals, you have to create a non existent american and use fake credit card detail, I'm pretty sure there's something in the laws against this.
If both are illegal, I'd rather take the easy way out.

But seriously, you shouldn't be doing this either, Popcap only made an agreement with Amazon for US Customers, what you are doing is stealing from poor Popcap.

I got it to work by just using the amazon app store on my phone and downloading it from there, instead of trying to get it from the amazon site on my pc… still don't know why it wouldn't let me get it from the site though.
I can't tell if you are serious? Search geolocating. Then you will know how they figured out you are not coming from the US. Else you can fix this, and appear to have a US internet presence. Or you can use a VPN from the US. There are plenty of free options to choose from.

I totally agree. The instructions at the link tell you to use an invalid credit card and state your US address (something I imagine almost no one here has). Being able to actually claim it doesn't mean it isn't a US offer. I could pay zero tax too by dodging up my details but it doesn't make it valid assessment.
If theres ways to get it without lying then I wouldn't mind but then the post should be changed to not link to another with instructions on how to register with false personal data. (edit: like the user did below actually)
ppl need to stop posting amazon's daily free app. Hack is hack…ppl who already hack the app, will already know, those who dont wont even bother.

It works great. Full screen and all.
I did the whole install with fake american details thing but when I click "get app" I get the "not available in your region" error too. Rubbish deal.
Edit: Ok, after changing my fake address to a different state and changing my fake card from visa to mastercard it is now working

I tried changing credit card details and address however still says geographically not correct. I wonder if its looking at IP address sometimes=.=
I'm guessing you just have to keep trying, as everyone keeps saying it just needs a little "time and effort"

Doubt it will work with Optus MyTab (coz. Plants vs Zombies currently doesn't work).

I downloaded it just fine last night.
Make sure you are on WIFI though as I am thinking maybe your phone is on 3G and I noticed the button displayed the price for me instead of saying FREE.
My missus loves this on the Xbox 360, with this on my phone I can now get back on the console for some proper gaming.

Galaxy Tab P1000/P1000T? The game works on P1000T.
Not sure about the latest gen Galaxy Tabs though (don't have access to one).
Says incompatible for me. I'm running Galaxy Tab P1000 with 2.3.3 Gingerbread (Overcome 2.0.1 HERMES ROM). Would be great if someone could find a workaround.
