  • Decent price on Honor Band 5, mines already on the way from Joybuy.

Have to say that honor band 4 nailed swim tracking for me, while Mi Band 4 absolutely got it so wrong.

    • Does Huawei integrate with Google fit or any other universal apps? Don't want to be locked in a specific ecosystem.

      • Integrate with Google Fit, only steps.

  • What's the best value band with usable NFC?

  • I have Honor Band 4, I don't see any benefit in Honor Band 5, only blood oxygen oximeter functio, is that worth it?

    • I was wondering about that feature, never heard of it. Hopefully someo e can elaborate on their experience with it

  • Xiaomi Mi 9T 128GB for AUD$373.14 at gearbest if you use the code GBMI9T800: https://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_009662864532.html

-edit- Oops, currency changed when I logged in. Actually USD. Ignore.

The pulse oximeter is a gimmick. Probably won't be accurate and if it is it's useless. The people who are worried about their oxygen saturations have no need for a fitness tracker and vice-versa.

    • Not necessarily a gimmick.
Commonly, oxygen readings are taken by medical staff while measuring Blood Pressure, but is this the only use for this monitoring tool. Readings provide results which may assist in future decisions.

Would have thought Intense Interval Exercising whether the participant is level Pro, Amateur, ordinary everyday, or unhealthy taking steps for improvement would be onto this feature. Along with the heart rate monitor function what are the readings telling you, progress, in the correct zone? recovery? nutrition?

Maybe useful for snoring soles who are interested in testing the waters of "sleep apnea".

      • Nope, definitely a gimmick.

There is no need to have pulse oximetry in a watch.

  • Have just started looking in to purchasing a 10 inch android tablet, is this a good price for the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus?
Have been comparing all the main Chinese brand Tablets and with the mainstream ones; does get difficult filtering out what is and isn't good. Just want something for everyday use and a little bit of gaming here and there (nothing graphic intensive, have an xbox, ps and PC for that).
Any comments or guidance are welcome.
