    The OS is not Android but Bada. An OS which Samsung has literally abandoned. If you're buying a smartphone, buy something with some "support" (software upgrades or otherwise).

    I have this phone and this is my take on it.

    GOOD
    * If you want to risk playing with firmwares, it can be quite stable, but it will never be as good as Android.
    * App Store is decent with a lot of free Apps.
    * Simple and quick interface thanks to Samsung TouchWiz.
    * Super AMOLED screen is viewable outside in sunlight.

    BAD
    * Samsung Kies (Software) - Bad, bad, BAD!!! Slow, resource hungry, tries to be like iTunes and fails.
    * Terrible battery life, Bada OS will suck it dry in no time.
    * Camera takes poor quality video.
    * Small screen.
    * Not all Flash online content can be played.
    * No "Angry Birds" App :(
    * Samsung does not release official updates to BadaOS as frequently as their Android phones.

    I have this phone and I do regret getting it against the social grain.
    Stick with Android or Apple mobile phones.

    Bada is crap, why should someone buy this crap phone compare with SS Galaxy Tab for $299… that, I don't understand, better get yourself an Android phone.
