@aminozcomau: And indeed it has been resolved promptly. Cheers

            • @OldKing: Fantastic, thanks for the update and not a problem.

  • No such thing as expiry, it is always best before or use by date which is the date the manufacturer guarantees the same level of taste and quality / texture etc. Government mandated generally that it couldnt exceed 2 or 3 years and hence products that never expire still end up having a date as by law they have to apparently. I have had protein powder 10 years old and no issues, the problems arise if there is extra fats included in meal replacements like MCT oils etc in dry form as i notice over a few years i think that can make the flavour quite bad..plus the flavour ingredients themselves can i think over time diminish or not taste as nice. But in terms of the protein itself going off, i dont think that happens for a long long time if stored properly.

  • best flavours?

    • +1

I won't comment on specific flavours myself as it can be quite subjective, but Vanilla and Chocolate are the best sellers. The others that are quite popular are Banana, Choc Cookies Cream and Choc Hazelnut. Hope this helps.

How it compares to ON Whey Extreme Milk chocolate? I have already two on the way. Ordered from you guys from the last deal! Excellent service as always.

    • +1

Thanks for the positive feedback, greatly appreciated!

Both ON Whey Extreme Milk Choc and Scitec Choc taste great and rate very highly. Both are rated 4.7 stars on our website.

ON Whey is a whey blend, but is primarily whey protein isolate, whereas Scitec Whey Protein Pro is also a whey blend but primarily a concentrate.

Overall they are very similar products, with the exception of GSW having more isolate. Both are very high quality. Very slight difference in macro's. I think it would come down to individual taste.

Have plenty in stock but ordered to try a new brand anyway :D Thank you

    • Thanks for the order ozibargainer! Too much protein is far better than not having enough at home (I have a warehouse full of it and it happens to me all the time…)

  • What does this product do?

    • It's a source of good quality protein. It's primarily whey protein concentrate and fine to consume around a workout or even throughout the day. A common use is if you're training at the gym, to consume after your workout to help facilitate recovery (particularly after an intense session). Another use could be during the day to help reduce caloric intake if you're seeking to lose weight.

This product will absorb much quicker than protein found in food as it's highly processed, so the most common usage is post-workout.

        Hi Jay,

I was reading on your website that going for an isolate over a concentrate is better in terms of quality for the body.

Would you recommend this over your Amino Z Whey Protein Isolate, as a good post work out?

Which would be better, I'm just starting out on my work out journey and only currently weight 70kg so only looking for a high quality post work out drink.

        • Hi SnakeDoc. An isolate is a higher quality protein powder and is also more expensive. If you're looking for the best quality product, I would recommend a straight isolate. Isolate is a higher amount of protein as a percentage and lower fat/carb. WPI generally will digest faster and is better for post-workout as a result.

So post workout I would spend the extra on an isolate if you're after the best quality product and willing to spend a little more.

          • Jay
          • @aminozcomau: Thanks Jay, I will get this deal this time round and see how it goes, I'll order the Isolate for my next round.

Appreciate the time you take to respond to everyone, great service, you just scored yourself another ongoing customer. :)

            • @SnakeDoc: No worries SnakeDoc, it's my pleasure. Thanks so much for the support and always feel free to reach out should there be any issues!

      • Another use could be during the day to help reduce caloric intake if you're seeking to lose weight

        How does that work OP.
You seem to be knowledgeable so please permit me to ask questions

I am currently on VLCD 800 cal per day roughly
4 shakes per day plus 2 L of water
Each shake has 207 Cal/ 18.2 gm protein

Assuming I try a serve of your powder with 250ml skim milk
Each serve would have 31 gm protein

Would that be bad for my kidneys?
Also I am prone to gout, would 120gm protein be too high for me

        • Hi docians - thanks for asking. The main usage of this in terms of weight loss would be to replace a higher calorie meal. For example, you could have a chocolate milkshake (full of sugars, fats etc) - let's say at about 400-500 kcal, versus a scoop of this in a glass of lite/skim milk yielding roughly 200kcal. Or really for any other substitute for a snack of little nutritional value, so long as it's in conjunction with a well balanced diet.

I unfortunately cannot assist you with your question regarding kidneys and gout. This is delving into the medical area and I would strongly suggest speaking with your GP and a dietitian for accurate advice.

          Hope this helps!

            been there
            done that
            they were unsure as well

please tell me OP which non chocolate/ non vanilla flavour would you recommend
            thanks

            • @docians: Ah I see. Sorry I can't be of assistance here, my only suggestion would be to speak to a medical professional before using supplements as this is way outside my scope of knowledge.

In terms of flavours, the other flavours that are quite popular are Banana, Choc Cookies Cream and Choc Hazelnut.

was hoping for non choc types (not a fan of chocolate)
so assuming choc cookies cream and choc hazelnut would be chocolatey? (or just a hint of chocolate ?)- sorry I hope I've explained my self better

which would mean the only non vanilla, non choc would be banana?
and would that taste like banana milk shake or banana candy

Too many questions, I know, but don't want to end up with flavour I dont like

                • @docians: Banana would be the safer option, but it's really hard to recommend because taste is just so subjective. It's a good banana, but there is always that possibility that you may not like it if you've never tried it before. I would suggest it's more like a banana milkshake because you do have the whey protein taste as an undertone.

      • How does taking a supplement reduce your calorific intake? Consuming less calories reduces your calorific intake. Work out your macros and eat/consume supplements accordingly to lose/gain weight depending on your goal.

        • Hi Fractual node - please see my further notes above. I clearly was too concise in my original response and didn't fully explain this point.

Jay was the one who got me started on my fitness journey. Maybe over a decade ago now. Back when my internet was dialup. I remember reading his articles about HIIT. I'm still training to this day! Thanks Jay

Hey cortex I remember that article! And yes I think I had that published around 2007/2008. Wow that's awesome and thanks so much for sharing, that's made my day!

Jay, any chance of a deal on some Vegan protein? :D

    • +1

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take this on board but as at the moment we don't have anything planned. Keep an eye out though - we have a lot of deals on our Bargains page on our website - there may be a few there of interest to you.

No whey!!!! What a deal :O

  • Is there any lactose in here? If there is lactose, any chance for a deal on a WPI as there's no lactose?

    • There will likely be lactose from whey. Our isolate has a very small amount of carbohydrate in it and may contain lactose.

I took a quick look and on our Bargains page we have the Biotech USA Iso Whey Zero which says on the label that is has zero lactose, and it's a WPI. Currently 40% off, we only have 2 units left and might be worth looking at.

  • I ordered a lot of stuff but forgot to use the referral link :(, still got good discount :).

  • This is a good price, but you can buy the equivalent WPC made in Australia using Australian milk for the same price with more protein per serve.

Got shipping confirmation to my Parcel Locker :D

  • I dont think you can use the referral link as well as this coupon?

    • +1

You won't get an additional discount for this deal, so you are correct. The referral link needs a code to be applied.

      • Jay
  • All on back order

    • We've had crazy sales from this deal and did exhaust stock very quickly. However more on the way and I've left a note in the original post. There shouldn't be any lengthy delays on this line as our supplier is extremely responsive and we will placing an order with our supplier on Monday to fulfil all the remaining orders placed over the weekend.

I don't know this brand but it does not look cheap to me especially when comparing to 2kg of WPI from BulkNutrients that you can get for $69.
So the reduced price and even more the normal price of $99 is just a joke, and for WPC!

For $99 you expect at least hydrolyzed whey! e.g. Dymatize Iso 100.

    • -1

Comparing apples to apples, 2kg of WPC from bulk is $52 delivered, so this promo price is on par as it is 2.35 kg.

Having said that, at full price it is a tad expensive compared to Australian made products

Factor in transport from the Czech Republic, storage in Australia, the reusable container and overheads

  • Just got one as well as some other stuff, great deal! Could someone explain the z points, not quite sure if I need to be a member to use them, and how do I take advantage of them?

    Thanks

    • Thanks for the order Signmeup578, really appreciate it!

The Z Points are our loyalty points system. So within 3 days of your order being shipped out, we'll credit your account with additional Z Points. You get 1-3% back in Z Points on every purchase anyway, but you'll get additional Z Points with this order. Then for your next purchase, you can use them as store credit to reduce your order total.

You'll need an account to accumulate Z Points. If you checked out without an account, we can create one for you so you don't miss out.

  • What kind of shipping is used? Australia Post? As in if no-ones home does it go to the local post office for collection?

    • Hi lonewolf. We use Australia Post and Fastway. You can choose between the two at checkout, or if there is a major problem with a carrier just let us know once you've placed your order. Also yes, if shipped by Australia Post it would be sent back to your local post office if they were unable to deliver.

      • Jay
      • Can they also leave it without a signature? or does fastway take it back to their collection depot where ever that is?

        • Yep just leave a comment in your order requesting to leave without a signature and we'll put it on the label for you, so they should follow those instructions. Without this, Fastway usually take it back to their depot (where you can arrange a redelivery).

Alright Jay / AminoZ, you guys have twisted my arm again! I just couldn't let this deal go.. Just ordered the Choc Coconut.. I don't mind if there's a bit of a delay, gives me extra time to make space for it, otherwise Mrs Nismo is gonna crack it! 😂

      Haha thanks nismo!!

  • Realise the sales over, but do you sell raw whey protein? I use this a lot in Keto cooking.

  • I purchased, it arrived. But the "sealed for your protection" seal was already broken, and protein powder had leaked throughout the packaging and box.

From the lack of seal crimping marks on half of the seal, I am guessing it was never properly sealed in the first place.

Returning the product is proving to be quite frustrating…

    • Hi friskywhippet - can you shoot me over your order number (or email) so I can take a look? We can send you over a replacement and I'll ensure this is expedited for you.

      • Jay
      • Hi Jay, got the return sorted out now thank you - Australia Post picked it up today.

        • Thanks for letting me know - so did everything work out then? If there was any issue in dealing with our team please do share with me. Receiving a damaged item should not be difficult to resolve on our end for you and you shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get what you paid for. I'm just concerned if it was a frustrating experience dealing with our team and would love any feedback here so I can jump on it. Thanks!

          • Jay
  • Got a text saying item will be within a week on 26 July, no update after. No call answered or message returned.
    Shitty behaviour.

    • Hi GeneralZod. They should all have been sent out by now, is yours still not shipped? Could you shoot me over the order number and I'll ensure we get on to this as top priority.

Also could you PM me your email if you emailed us? I'd like to see why we didn't get back to you.

      Thanks in advance.
