Toughpower Grand RGB 1200W is tier 1, while lower wattage ones, including 850W is tier 2.
It shows both under tier 1 in that link for me… or is that link not accurate?
@hexedhavoc: That's what I see in your given link

@O O: Hi. O O , Do you know which tier is my one : thermaltake Litepower GEN2 750W
PS-LTP-0750NPCNAU-2 , I can not find anywhere , It come with pc i bought from Techfast. Do you think i should replace it with a better one if my pc is core i7 8700 and msi rtx 2080 gpu, thanks in advance.
@Temporary username: Tier 6 - Thermaltake Litepower Series
Tier 6 PSUs are a gamble; they may work fine, they may prove to be utterly useless. Our advice is to stay well clear if your finances allow it.
Any serious builder will happily rant at length about how awful these are. They provide the most basic functions of a PSU with absolutely nothing else to offer. These units barely reach 80 Plus Rating in most instances with a predominance of white scores.
@Cloudream: thanks for your help. Can not believe my one is tier 6 :(. I’m new to pc and just know what is tier grades of psu from this post . :)
sold by Amazon US? any problem using it in AUS? like power voltage and connection etc
also curious
I was also wondering, so I did a search.
https://forums.evga.com/US-power-supply-will-work-in-my-coun…
Seems these will switch based on voltage input.
I always thought overseas power supplies were a no no. <shrug>
Anyway, it would come with an american cord. And I think you can just use a normal aus power cable for it.
Found this.

Input Voltage: 100V – 240V~
Hope it helps
Does it actually just work like that? serious question though.
@griffy: I'm not sure.
I bought 2 amps ages ago from the US, described as 100-240V, but they had 2 different power supplies in actual fact, one for Aus, one for US. Had to buy a transformer :/
So yeah, not sure <shrug>.
Great deal. I had to cancel the other psu i bought. Anyone know if we can cancel an item which has already been shipped from Amazon us via au? I just bought the item this morning and look like it has already been shipped.
what? no, it's in the mail. they cant pull it out of the plane. you can return once it arrives though.
I just bought this psu but now I want to cancel it. No option to cancel order. This item hasnt been shipped yet but I think it might be shipped by tmrw morning before i can get hold of the customer service..
Looks like the 750w corsair psu from previous deal is more reliable and silent than this 850w according to review.
Ok
thermaltake is not on the same level as Corsair
Also not the same price as corsair
Was only $20 more in the previous deal for a Corsair
RGB is a deal breaker for me lol.
To be honest, i don't like rgb light at all.
It uses more energy and we look at the screen not the case.RGB won't even be seen.. PSU's sit in the case. Still….
I have this inside my Corsair Carbide air 540 case. The psu sits against the side of the case where there is a mesh panel. I can see the rgb ring faintly though the mesh. It subtle but pretty cool and can then see when the fan starts and stops. Its a pretty good psu
Does it consider as an international purchase? like it will charge international transaction fee?
No
Review are fairly average.
very average unit - unlikely to last 10 years at rated power as well -lucky to see 5.
How many people keep their PSU's for 10 years?? I always intend on doing that, but generally get a new PSU when I build a new setup anyway. The cost of these are quite small in the overall cost of the build. Never even had a no name brand s$%tbox fail at 5 years, let alone a branded one. 10 years warranty on this anyway so…
I think this one is tier 1 psu?
