    I got some AirPods, same process. Last hour hit buy it now, filled in CC details and this hour mashed the confirm and pay button until it went through.

    Hint, if you need to minimize the browser screen so it doesn't jump around every time you hit the button.

      I hit buy it now at 3pm and got to the next step, added discount code and credit card but it's stopped there saying

      "We notice a problem. Please review: your items."

      I've left it on that page and will try to confirm and pay at 4pm
      I tried checking my eBay cart on another computer but it shows nothing in my cart.
      I'm hesitant to close that page showing "confirm and pay", could this go through at 4pm?

      Edit: Yes this worked at 4pm! You have to leave the page live and keep refreshing, it wouldn't have worked if I closed the page and tried checking my cart

      Yes. I did that for the 3pm drop.

      Use CC and spam the confirm, there will be a note saying that the seller made a change but prices should be the same (when the stock replenish).

      Defo not a scam. Just remember that thousands of people in Australia are standing by their computer every hour on the hour hoping to snag this item.
      And you have to be a Plus Member too.
      If you're not a Plus Member then its not going to happen…. which is why I have to miss out .. :(

    Got the error message at 3:00:01 saying there was an insufficient quantity after clicking buy it now.
    There must be scripts running - no way 100 people got to the button within a second. The quantity purchased jumped to 601 immediately.

      seller manually updates quantity and they usually do this 30 seconds before.
      hence, you need to refresh page a minute before and as soon as you see buy it now, click on it

      I managed to get one, I added it to my cart manually the previous hour (was lucky to do that) then filled out all details and applied codes but missed out when I went to confirm, then I simply kept the checkout screen open waiting for the next hour to try again, started clicking 'confirm and pay' about 30 seconds beforehand and got lucky

      Yes. Stay on that page and click the purchase button every now and then so the page doesn't expire. Wait till 3:57 and just keep clixking non-stop. Hopefully this works for you.

    yeah.. this is an absolute joke. I very rarely neg but I think this deserves one for wasting my time all day. It's fair and square - yeah whatever, it's still annoying as hell and only Ebay could think of such a sneaky business tactic to take the shine out of another company's spotlight. I'm sure I'll keep jumping on the ebay deals that are killer deals but this really has left me with a negative view of what was left of it in my mind

    I started spamming "Confirm and Pay" at 3:04pm and it went through at 3:05. Must have been failing payments.

    Looks like it didn't actually go through though… it's not in my ebay purchases. UGH

          If you have got to the checkout page, apply the voucher and click pay button, should refresh and do nothing. The error message is like "Please review your unit". If you have got all these, then you should be fine to go for the next hour.
