Bought some of these at Bunnings which I thought was the cheapest at $6.30 per pack, but needed more and found them on Amazon for $4.75 per pack. Cheaper still if you buy the 14 pairs for $13.42.

In my experience dont waste money on these, whatever large the strip is, to hang your frame, they will falls off. Just get some plasterboard screws that will do the job, learn some plastering and painting skills and never worries about those left over holes.

Toothpaste is good for white walls
I've never had an issue with them. They hold strong and can conveniently be removed from the wall.
Where do they fail for you? How many do you use for one painting?
I have those printable plaques from kmart. They're not too heavy but more than half has come crashing down at various times of the day and night. It did hold for a year and a half. Good thing is those plagues have no glass and won't worry crashing down. I don't trust them with my larger more expensive wall decor. Even those with canvas, the frame will break if it comes down. Big hazard for kids too.
Depends on how good the paint job is on the wall you're hanging them on. I've had walls that they come off without issues, then I've had other walls that they tear the plaster off. It's usually if the original painter did a dodgy job.
We use them across the whole house. As long as you're not stingy with them they stay up for years (4 and counting on wooden frames and canvases) and for those walls where you might change pictures of different sizes around every now and again they're perfect
Been using these for years. Highly recommend them for everything and anything, not limited to pictures.
Have used for small 5.1 sound system, mounting(hiding) portable 2.5inch drives.
Etc
I got the one for holding up a broom, has held for years as well.

Ooh, didn't think of this - good call.
Yep, couldn't disagree more.
We have a gallery wall that's been up for 3-4 years now, nothing has fallen - you did something wrong like not clean your skank-ass walls, my friend.
I used 2 of them to hang a mirror on my bedroom closet door, hasn't fallen down and has been up for 3yrs now with the door moving back and forth quite often
My TV weighs less than 16 pounds. These seem like a great option to hang it up without making holes.
Greta idea, let us know how it goes
Every picture, large or small, that I’ve hung with these has fallen down. Some took six months, other less, but gravity won every single time.
I've got several 1m canvas's up on walls for a few years now. I think in that time maybe 1 fell and sticky bit needed replacing (got morning sunlight, so maybe a factor). That said will definitely keep using them.
Thanks O.P. - needed some of these - got the 14 pack.
thanks OP
We have used the 3M picture hanging strips to child proof kitchen draws and cupboards for years. Best life hack ever.
“Please explain?”
You just put one on inside of kitchen draw/cupboard and one on the inside frame. The kids aren’t strong enough to pull it. You probably need to go for the 5kg or stronger ones though.
Cheers, 16lb should cover it then. Not too much?
@WhyAmICommenting: Might be a tad too strong.
@DryScissors: Ah ok. Anyway, a hack for next time
These sell for way too much at Woolworths and Office Works. Good deal.
So 4 actual pairs? 8 pieces total?
Actually cheaper at Costco 36pc for $28 with coupon
These are rubbish, don't waste your money. I just had four of them rip the paint off my wall. Followed instructions perfectly. I spoke to Command and all they did was blame the paint job. In the end I drilled a hole in the wall and hung the frame that way. Would have been less damage if I had just did it that way to begin with!!
Technically, if they ripped the paint off, they are still stuck to the surface and did the job.
Technically, they didn't do the job they were intended to do, hold a picture on the wall. Smart ass
Your wall failed you, not the command strips - if they fell down without taking chunks of wall, you could say the strips were the problem, (barring you putting them on wrong, not cleaning the wall etc), if chunks of plaster came off the wall, it's the plaserting that's at fault.
How do you not understand that?
100% if it ripped the paint of your wall, then your painters have done a bad job.
This thing really that good even during summer heat? Always feel iffy about my hanging my frame with it, but at the same hate to drill a hole on the wall..
14 pairs costs $13.42 + $7.41 Delivery for none prime
