Same as last deal but the extra $10 for paywear not in it and you have 30 days not 45 days to make 5 transactions.

  • Opened a choice account a couple of weeks ago, thought this might apply to me. Checked their conditions from the link and it says from 10/07/19 - 9/10/19. Maybe they changed it after you read it?

    • To receive up to AUD$50 credited to an everyday account, customers must open a Westpac Choice account online or in an Australian Westpac branch between 13/05/19 and 09/07/2019 (inclusive)…

I checked, and 10/07/19 is the day after 09/07/2019.
Also, today is 14/07/19. Ima stop checkin now.

      • Ummmmm….. I don't really know what you're on about. The deal has been updated to the current terms now. Maybe KEEP checkin?

      • I signed up to the previous deal on the 9th of July just before it ended, I thought I already signed up to their credit card $200 deal and the account is still opened it would be very easy and it was very easy to simply add this account to get $50. To get the Credit Card I had to go to the bank and show ID. Nice to get some extra un taxed spending money. Really this $50 is like earning $75 as 33% usually of salary goes into tax.

  • Open before july 9.

Today is already july 14 when posted on ozb.

    Why post already passed?

      The page says:

Seems like the Terms in the OP are old and the promo has been extended.

  • When i put a comment, it it wasnt updated.
I assume the $50 is taxable?

    • Of course…

    • It's not interest. It's not wages or salary. It's not a gift from an employer. I'm happy for a second opinion but I would assume a company that chooses to give me money isn't counted as income unless I work for the company.

  • When I signed up on the previous offer, it came with a life account, What is that?

    Check now guys!

  • In regard to this "You'll need to deposit $2000 if you want to avoid the $5 monthly account fee." Can you deposit $1000, then withdraw, and re-deposit again? So that means you have deposited $2000 in total?

    • hmm havent tried that but to be safe just drop 2k and take out next day. if you need to know for sure try call them and ask.
