U mean like this 1?
Yes.
I have both and I actually reach for the 10 inch a lot more than I would have thought.
if you can only have one, go for 12, but at these prices I'd definitely suggest getting both.
Can anybody tell me what’s the different with this one.
https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B00006JSUA/ref=ppx_yo_d…Yep…
The RED handle.. The "helper" handle is the small handle opposite the main grab handle, which is part of the pan itself…
So it’s $6 sth for the handle…
Yep, the Lodge silicon handle by itself is over $10 if purchased separately, i got a cpl from Banggood or somewhere in China (was commented in a previous Lodge deal a few moths ago) for a couple $$ each, they seem fine..!
@Bunsen: I bought these a couple weeks ago when I had bought the lodge griddle and the work a treat. Plus u get 3 of them and so comfortable to hold unlike the silicone handle.

@soyea: That link doesn't work as desired..
Takes me to an empty cart page..@Bunsen: Try this see if this works

@soyea: Have ur holders melted?? The reviews i just read complain of melting…
Think i'll stick with the Silicon handles.. ;)
@Bunsen: Have used them about 5 times now and can say they work well, I have used the silicone handle too and for some reason can feel the heat more and also the grips is not as sure footed as with the cotton covered one. (The inside is aluminium foiled like your regular mits)
@Bunsen: That’s very good idea. Thank you for your information.
10 inch is big enough to cook a standard steak yeh??
Edit: Meh, I'll just pay the extra $2 to get the 12 inch one
Have you pulled the trigger yet? I'd definitely recommend 10" over 12" for a single steak if that's what's you want the pan for.
12" will cook the steak fine and it's more versatile, but its also a decent bit heavier and too much empty space just leads to more smoking/burning of any butter/oil/fat in the pan.
no haven't pulled the trigger yet because a 10" pan was only $18.95 a few weeks back
Get the 12" one. 10.25" is a bit small..
PS: that's what she said.
