  • Price in title please!

  • I always wanted to try an expensive shaver, and it seems most have 60 day money back. Does that mean I can use it for a week, and if it doesnt do what I hoped, I just return it for a refund?

  • I've had the CT2 for almost 5 years, used almost every day and still going strong.

    • What foils/heads do they take?
I ditched Philips years ago as the replacement heads cost more then the shaver.

  • You can ignore most of the reviews, they appear to be from different Braun shavers. The only real surprise is that they don't have iron reviews in there.

  • 'Active Cooling Technology "
is that when I have to keep splashing water on my face while shaving?

  • love the Cooltec technology

Shouldn't a good shave be nice and warm?? Why are all these shaving products trying to make your face cold?

    • It makes your whiskers stand up. So you get a better shave

  • I have attempted electronic shavers a couple of times. The last time was a quite expensive cooltec shaver similar to this.
I gave up on it after about 3 months. Was getting ingrown hairs on my face. Nothing beats a shave with a razor in my view.
My experience may be affected by the fact that I have curly hair.

    • I have the opposite experience with shavers, razors give me a rash and ingrown hairs. Had a Cooltec CT2 for years and no more rash, less ingrowns. 🤷‍♂️

      • Interesting. I'd love the convenience of using an electronic.

  • Ok, shaving after 40 plus years someone gave me the best tip.
Shave immediately after showering, do not dry your face after shampooing/washing/rinsing then using a blade razor (any kind i use a bic disposable) shave away. Do not use any soap or gel or oil (tried them all) as it just puts chemicals on your face that cause the irritation. I have sensitive skin and get almost no rash from doing it this way. I also use dermaveen afterwards but it's not really needed. No Rash - No Ingrown Hairs - No expensive chemicals.

Why not just shave in the shower?

      • It doesn't work. i don't know why. i used to shave in the shower (even bought a stainless steel mirror) but doing it this way works. It cost me nothing to try.
