        I use this for putting up ceiling grid. The accuracy is very good. Hard to see in sunlight but fine indoors. I also have a laser target reflector that helps in the brightly lit areas and longer distances (5+ metres). The verticle line is helpful for setting out walls. It would be perfect if it had a plumb pointer as well. Im guessing the levels are within a few mm over 10m. If you need more accuracy than that then get a more professional laser with a green beam that is more visible. For the price of $80 you get a great deal, with a basic tripod and batteries.

          "Hard to see in sunlight"; so not impossible then?
          What would be the usable range outdoors?
          Better on cloudy days?

        I think its good. It shoots it vertically and horizontally but not upwards but its very good for the price. I find though it does of course work better in darker environments; if its too bright then you can barely see anything. I would say all but useless for outdoor application but more for around the house shooting a laser to get straight fixtures or trim carpentry, things like that.

          I bought one;
          overcast day I could see it easily at 12m on cream wall blocks
          sunny day I struggled after 5m on same
          .

      you probably could, but i think it would be simpler, easier and cheaper just to use a water level

      Good deal but it's missing an important feature I need so I had to swallow the vomit while forking out $150 for a Bosch Universal Level 2 (ew) purely because it offers Plumb Points. Nice little unit but would've been much better if it was an Ozito :)

    Got a Bosch one that I still haven't used about six months ago - one day it will incredibly useful, but I'm yet to see it…

    Pick up one of these last night at Bunnings Newstead QLD (so many in stock that they couldn't all be stored in the lock-up) and tested it last night in the house and was very impressed with the laser coverage and the features. Now, to work out what project around the house to get on to first with this beast.
    Just going to make a staff to make it a dumpy level. does anyone know a cheap way of getting a laser sensor?
