I hate to disagree with you but that GPS for example has been for sale on your site as a hot offer for over a week. It was marked as "Save 100" and now it is saying "Save 200". I know this for a fact cause I was considering getting it.

I bought the gps a yr ago for $310. So the rrp showed in this deal is correct. Garmin has 1390 (smaller screen), 1390T (with the traffic trasmitter), 1490 has 2 model too 1490 and 1490T
Check your research again. T matters alot in this case. Its the support of real time traffic.
Perhaps you are thinking of the Garmin Nuvi 1450T In-Car GPS? This was advertised in last week's brochure for $100 off. Primary difference between the Nuvi 1450T and 1490T is that the 1490T is Bluetooth compatible.

I am 100% positive it was the 1490T since I was considering using the AMEX deal and spent an hour trying to combine it with another item to meet the $250 criteria. Couldn't find anything else I wanted or needed though so I passed. Plus if it was $310 a year ago surely you dont expect to pay the same amount now.
Its a good price nonetheless, however its not a different special from what they had on earlier.
just saying website showed save $200 is off rrp generally all retailers show you the saving off the rrp not their normal pricing. i checked dicksmith websites…1450T could be what you saw. same specs kinda. but is $299.

looks like 1450T is actually $299 rrp, so if you saw it last week for $199, it should be save $100

it was the 1450T on special the last week … had put in an order at local store for the 1450T only to go in today and cancel it to get the 1490T online instead

Is there any better GPS deal out there ? Tried staticice and ebay just for price comparison. But this seems to be the best price. I'm about to buy this GPS, but just need reassurance that this is best deal available at this point.
