Last time this happened I rang to ask about stock levels and the told me it was a pricing error. Prepare to get a bunch of negs with people wanting to blame you as if they hadn’t already noticed the fault.

Just an update, Wish I had of gotten a phone call. The logic I was given was, we wanted you to come in so we could offer you a refund or see if you wanted 4 cans for $22…. 'Oh the order came through as a 'mix pack' not a case, so we didn't even realise..
Mate just called from one, they were trying to give him 4 packs claiming that's what the click and collect system had in it, or a refund.
I appear to have secured 5 x 4 packs Pale for $36 delivered.
That's less than a full case (which was only $18.99 + $6.90 postage = $25.89) but at least you got some beers :)

Last time with the price error for cider I'd ordered 2 cases. They came out with 6 packs and I said no it was for cases. They knew it was coming. Manager came out and said I can't do 2 but I can do 1 and refund the other.

SO.. being a thirsty bloke (for a beer and bargain) I ordered 5 cases of 24 with express delivery.
My delivery just arrived and low and behold I have 5 x 4 packs.
Big difference between the word "pack" and "case" as per my invoice.. I was actually expecting a call to advise of the error and options or a refund, but to go ahead and pack an incorrect order (again "pack" of 4 vs "case" of 24) and just sent it is pretty poor form (yes I know, so is getting 5 cases at a price error amount lol)
Contacted the online dept. and told them what I ordered v's what I got and within a minute of checking said he sees there was a pricing error, and put me on hold while he looked into it. He then spoke to the store who confirmed a pricing error and not enough stock even if they could fulfil the order, alone.
He then went to speak to the manager to see if there was any compensation they could give me. Eventually returning with a good will offer of a refund of 50% of the cost (minus delivery) So after the refund (and including delivery) I ended up paying around $72 for 20 cans ($3.60 a can) so still not a bad deal
next time, you could let them know that due to their mistake, they can collect the delivered order and give you a refund - due to the cost of collection, they'll probably let you keep the delivery and pro-rata the purchase price :)

I just checked my receipt, and have the same thing. I got 1 case of the pale ales, and 4 x can/bottles of the IPA. My order status has changed to "Packed" though, so it might come through I guess

I went to collect the order and only got a 4-pack for the price of a single, the rest was refunded. I wasn't insisting on more since it was clearly a pricing error and they had lots of 4-packs on the shelf pending collection.
Anyone had an update via ebay purchasing? I'm betting they don't honour it but last thing i want to do is them send singles and have to go through the process of sending back etc.

I bought black hops ipa and when i tries to pickup at Dan murphey southport goldcoast, they gave me just 4 cans of beer. I captured web site page and showed it to them with my invoice then the manager was willing to give a case. What a lucky day!

What does RSA got to do with the price of fish?
IIRC something about pricing alcohol too cheaply below market is a breach of RSA. Can't remember details, but I think they cracked down on the practice with obscenely cheap happy hours at QLD bars abut 10-20 years back as the reason
I spoke with them to have a whinge, and they said it was because they couldn't sell X standard drinks for Y dollar. I asked why they sell cask wine then, and they had no response
Wine, and wine based products, are oddly excluded from quite a few regulations and taxes… It's why you see cheap "dovka" and other BS "spirits" around.

I called them up last time when they gave the same RSA excuse with the cancelled Mercury Hard Cider orders.
I asked which section of the Liquor Act they were following and the guy on the phone didn't have an answer so he put me on hold while he went to find out. When he came back he admitted the real reason orders were cancelled was that it would cost them too much to honour the sales because of some wine equalisation tax, which cider apparently falls under.
