got this from JB paid $35 after price matching amazon, looks ok, scratches easy, boils slow, lasted 4 months, burnt out caused power to go off, best price match at JB anything goes wrong can just return/exchange on the spot

a couple reviews mentioned that on productreview.com, yet the Amazon reviews are glowing..

EDIT: i have found Amazon pretty good with their returns process, well the 1 time i used it they were anyway…

Good thinking with the JB pricebeat though & more convenient for sure…

    • Can't see this model on JB website?

ah yes, of course, 'the London collection'

    tea and scones anyone?

  • Damn been wanting to use my Amazon prime sub, but this ain't it.

10 buck target kettle it is.

When's prime day? July 15th yeah?

    • Just noticed advert on Amazon for Prime day it's 15th & 16th July..

      • Getting ready to buy… Stuff… And I don't know what as there's literally nothing I need. Excited!

  • I have been through many branded kettles, including Breville, Kenwood, Morphy Richards, etc. All were a disappointment. So I checked productreview to see which gets good reviews. Bought the well-reviewed K-Mart thermostatic kettle for $59 with Schott glass. It's beautiful, well-made and very functional. Highly recommend.

    • I have a K-Mart ~$30 glass kettle also (with the pretty blue LED's when switched on), hasn't missed a beat aside form the lid breaking & now have to remove lid to refill as it doesn't 'spring' up anymore..

      • "Hasn't missed a beat, except it's broken"

        Um, what

        • It's a kettle, it boils water…

  • Surprised no one mentioned the colour won't match anything, unless you bought the toaster from the other day.

Doesn't matter to me personally, but the boss is all about shlt matching. I would think other people here have wives too?

  • Looks like its now free shipping on this. Free shipping for orders under $39 now?
